I have gone to this Canada Post a few times over the past year. I didn't used to have any issues but lately it's been one mistake after the other and I'm hoping this review gets taken seriously because I have tried passing along feedback through Canada Post directly while also providing verbal feedback at the location. I take small online orders for a small shop and the past two months I have run into more issues than I ever have before and I will not be returning to this Canada Post again. Maybe it's because I am sending out more orders so I'm just being exposed to this more, or maybe there are some serious management issues here, or maybe it's because Canada Post doesn't properly train their employees. No matter what, all these negative experiences have been inconvenient and I simply don't trust them to do the job properly. I hope this review gets taken seriously and maybe some things will change for the better. I am a paying customer who is shipping things to my own paying customers. I take that seriously! Canada Post doesn't seem to take it as seriously nor do they care for their paying customers based off of my experiences lately. I have called Canada Post about each situation, but they don't want to take responsibility for their employee's actions. I was actually told by a Canada Post Supervisor that I should go to a "Real Canada Post" citing that this Canada Post can't be trusted or isn't as "reliable". How about you just train ALL of your employees to measure up to the same standards? I know.... a crazy concept. I think that is a pretty ridiculous statement and I have to think based off of that response that this isn't solely location specific problems. 1st issue: I was told that something could be sent through oversized letter mail by two different people. These were business cards I was sending to London, ON for a show (which I paid extra to have sent) and were put in a bubble mailer. Not only did it get returned to me, but it was returned to me TWICE, both times I was told by Canada Post employees at this location that it could pass as letter mail. It was even put through the "slot" to confirm it wasn't too large and it was weighed to confirm it wasn't too heavy. I was going to pay for tracked shipping the second time, but was assured that they "didn't know why" it didn't go through. It was also returned to me the second time three weeks after I had mailed it which was well after the show date. So there goes the extra money I paid to the show, the bubble mailer, the stamps and my time having to go to Canada Post not once, but twice, only to have it returned to me three weeks later. This is the situation where the Canada Post Supervisor told me I should maybe go to a "real Canada Post" after an hour on the phone. I also love that Canada Post delivered this to my house twice when they could have spent that energy simply making an exception and sending it to the actual destination. It probably would have taken less resources and time. 2nd issue: I decided to give this location a second chance but that was a mistake. I (again) dropped off an oversized letter mail package. It was going to the USA and I was told it needed two stamps. I had other things with me so I got distracted and forgot to confirm (as it didn't seem like enough). I called Canada Post after I got home when I started thinking about it only to be told it should have three stamps, not two. So I drove back to Canada Post to actually put TWO more stamps (so FOUR total, not three like I was told on the phone). I literally was told THREE different stamp numbers for oversized letter mail going to the USA. Maybe someone knows the actual answer to this question. I don't place blame on the person who was helping me either. She was new, I could tell and that is totally fine. We all have to learn and I definitely can have patience for that. What I do think is ridiculous is that someone with inexperience has to call someone on the phone if they don't know how to do something and they have ZERO support. I hope things change. Best of luck!

I would give zero stars but google will not let me. Continental landmasses move faster than the line here. Speed of smell seems fast in comparison. Go elsewhere or re-evaluate the reasons for using canada post. Do family really need to see those Christmas cards? Do they really?

This 1 star review isn't for this location specifically but for Canada post in general. Not reliable one bit. I wish there was a zero star or even worst. Update on review. Still the worst mail service. I'm wondering how they're still in business. I'm travelling tomorrow and still waiting for packages that were supposed to be delivered a week ago. Now on the phone, they created a ticket and transferred me to a supervisor and I've been on hold for half an hour and no answer. Probably trying to frustrate me to wait until I hang up. Terrible service ?

For all the people giving these bad reviews, each post office is different, and some have other systems and different available services; for the money gram issue, there's no cashing out at this post office, so don't get mad and post negative reviews like angry rage, and for all the people posting a negative review about Canada post the company as a whole that has nothing to do with this post office the people working at the post office here are shoppers employees if you want to leave a negative review leave it on a sorting facility or something.
