I received my notice in the mail that my passport was in on Thursday Sept 20th it stated available for pick up after 1pm of the 21st I thought ok great. I went to the postal office in shoppers drug mart on 4th ave on the 22nd. The lady working scanned the piece of paper and asked when I received this because it's not here. It clearly states the 20th on the paper and pick up time after 1pm on the 21st and the 4th ave address. She insisted it wasn't there. Then changed her story and told me it would be there Monday. I asked her to please double check it's not here. She then told me it's at another postal office but the computer won't tell her where it is. As a customer I was very confused and at that time I was losing my patience being told 3 different things. Then another worker came out and scanned the paper and shes like its right here, Opened the drawer & it was the 1st parcel and handed it to me. The lady then apologized and said shes going to blame the computer for this mishap. Maybe if the employee didn't rely on technology so much and opened the drawer to check the issue would of been resolved alot faster.

I usually print labels online and then when I come to Canada Post office I need them to be scanned on a spot and I need a receipt ( as an online seller I MUST have a proof that Canada Post has accepted my shipping). Just like always, I came yesterday to drop them off - there was no line up at all and when I handed parcels to the worker - with a HUGE ATTITUDE without saying "hi" she said I have to just put them on a side to the pile of amazon returns boxes. When I told her I needed them to be scanned she said since there is already a label on it I should just leave it and go. EXCUSE ME, i am NOT going just to shove my parcels that contain collectible items (worth of $700+) to the pile of boxes on a side and pray you might get to scan them at one point. So I told her that I cannot do that since I needed a proof of Canada Post accepting my parcels - then with a HUGE ATTITUDE she said - " Then you will wait until I scan all these parcels on the side!" Which was not a problem for me at all if only she didn't say it with so much HOSTILITY! So she started nervously scanning those amazon parcels and finally scanned mine at the end. I already made her work easier by measuring, weighing and printing labels at home, so she didn't need to do all these work and all she had to do just to scan them and give me the receipt which takes less then a minute! I know it's a hard time for everyone so no need to make it harder by being hostile and rude. JUST DO YOUR JOB!
