have struggled with tape woes. Recently I requested a piece of tape for my package which had come unstuck, the staff motioned to tape hanging on the wall for sale. I ended up driving to Douglasdale for the bottle depot and decided to stop into the Rexall drugstore/post office. The clerk greeted me with a friendly smile, offered me the tape I needed, free of charge, and let me use a sharpie. This level of customer service appears to be a struggle for the Deer Valley location so I will definitely take my business to Douglasdale in future where good service is NOT an inconvenience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a regular customer there (literally, 1-2x week) - I definitely understand how some could see the one older lady employee as 'rude'.
Its just that persons demenour and she might appear 'rude' while calling you 'my dear' at the same time !
However, they have always treated me well AS A WHOLE, so 4/5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shorter older woman who works there is not up to date with the regulations and refuses to learn. She refused to to ship my package so i went to another location with zero issues. Replace her with someone who is tech savvy and friendly watch the reviews go up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The older lady who works here Sharon, is down right miserable. Anytime I am there she talks rudely to myself (literally every time) and I have seen the same to many other customers too. If you have the option to use another post office you are better off doing so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The older lady that works there is very unprofessional and is just a bag. She quoted me a price to ship an item and when it actually got down to paying, all the sudden it cost more. I had the original quote on paper printed out and I mentioned that the new piece was higher than what she first quoted me. I asked politely if she could try putting in the measurements and weight again and it still came out significantly higher. I said well your originally quoted me this and all she said was “I must have rushed, sorry.” She would not give me the price that she originally quoted which I think is not right. I was shipping something to a buyer out of town and I had to absorb the extra cost as I quoted the buyer the original price and I don’t feel that’s right to ask for more after the quote was given and the money was sent. I asked the post office lady if I could please take a video of the package being taken so I could send proof to my buyer, and she flat out refused. I watched her interact with other customers and was just disgusted with how she was treating them. She has no patience and is plain out rude. It’s a disgrace to Canada Post to have her as an employee because she really left a sour taste in my mouth. I’ve dealt with other employees in this same location and other ones and have always been happy with the service I received. This lady needs to go. Horrible experience. Almost makes me not ever want to use Canada Post ever again. If I could put no stars for this review I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely leave negative reviews, but after giving this location 3 chances, I’ve got to give it one star.
The fellow that works there is very kind however the other two employees are very rude. Not just unfriendly, but legit rude.
Save yourself a miserable experience and drive further to a different post office.
I would urge management to look upon the performance of their employees to ensure this branch can stay open.

Why do I consistently run into rude employees primarily at Post Offices?
Can someone please recommend a Post Office that provides a level of customer service that isn't terrible?
I don't seem to have this problem at other stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot say enough about the supervisor there Kathy. She goes above and beyond and is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you go when she is working! Call ahead and ask if she is in if necessary haha. So great!
