I haven't visited the whole place but just went to see friends. So cannot comment except to say that their spot was great because they were right next to the Riviere Rouge where you can swim, kayac etc. Fee for visitors.

We passed by on our way to Montreal. Very friendly staff, they gave us a great pitch for 1 day/night. Beautiful surroundings on the river. The private beach was kept spotless by the staff, in fact the whole ground was very clean. Downside is that you had to drop quarters for a shower. Why you would require that is beyond me, it seems so cheap. Ask a dollar per head more if you are that strung for cash. We would definitely come back for a longer stay though.

Beautiful scenery. Fantastic beach! Sites on the beach are a bit smaller than the others. Nice grassy lots.

Nice place to stay, big, clean but VERY GREEDY owners. Stayed there for 2 day and wanted to stay a couple of more hours at the beach. I moved out the car to free up the campsite but lady (owner) said that I'm not allowed to stay at camping at all even for next 2-3 hours for the beach. Otherwise i have to pay a full amount for campsite again. They will die for 1$. Never come back again!

Worst experience of my life! We arrived around 9pm with 4 young children in tow. There was a huge fiasco at the lineup with payment. Please note, there's a secret charge for more than 1 vehicle, and a $20 deposit for each "key" you require to enter and exit this park. By the time we had this whole thing sorted out was almost 10pm and we still needed to set our tent. We were supposed to have power, but it's only set up for trailers to plug into, our site was all dirt, no grass, so when it rained over night... you guessed it, we woke up a mud wonderland. We stayed the night and left the following morning.

First time staying here and we were very happy with the campground. The beach that stretches the entire length of the park was what really sold us. The river doesn't get very deep but is perfect for wading, kayaking or drifting on an inflatable. The staff didn't speak English really well but made sure that all our questions were answered. Washrooms were always clean and well stocked. I would absolutely recommend this campground to friends and family. If you are coming from Ottawa, it takes about 2hrs and 15 minutes to get there.

This place is crammed with lots so much so that there are lots outside the gates on the way in. The ones the supply power for tent camping are sandy and not grassy, so if it rains you are in for a muddy day. I thought we rented a secluded lot (211 and 212) turns out there is no real woods behind us but permanent rv's right behind those lots so the map isn't accurate. The fire pits are in front of the lots near the road and there is a curfew of 11:30pm for fire which is weird. So many people on the weekend that it's too loud and to crammed for any privacy ( since you are almost sitting in the road around the fire pit.) I am only giving 2 stars cause the beach was nice and you can practically walk across to the other side so it was enjoyable to be in with the kids.

We just spent a wonderful week at the campsite! Pros: The sandy beach (we were next to the smaller, back beach) is very pleasant and with few people (expept for Saturday). Perfect for floating down the lazy river, paddle boarding and canoeing. BE CAREFUL with the current! It is fast! In some places the depth drops very quickly! The washrooms and facilities were clean and well maintained. Shower: 1$ for 5 min. CONS: This is a huge campground and the sites are very clustered and packed together! Ony the few waterfront sites have a bit of privacy, and sites E7 and E8 in the back are very private and large. But overall it has a great atmosphere and we plan to come back!
