T	Tina Mc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe my dog's experience at Camp Yellow Dog exemplifies the knowledge, passion, dedication, and pure love that Camp Yellow Dog has for animals, and dogs in particular. When my dog arrived at Camp, he was given as much time as he needed to smell every nook and cranny of the property before he was gradually introduced to the dogs that were on the property, one by one, to ensure safe and friendly relations with all. Every dog has specific needs- some need toys and puzzles to stimulate; my dog is a guardian breed and enjoyed his week outdoors minding the farm- the option to be inside or out was often his to choose . I received photos and updates of him interacting with all the dogs on the property and on the hikes (which are included as part of the Camp Yellow Dog experience). He was spoiled with homemade treats and (healthily) stuffed kongs. When I picked him up, all the dogs were happy and relaxed. He ran to me and jumped in the car but the next morning when it sunk in that I was off to work and he was back to the old routine, I could see in his eyes and in his defiant barks that he was wishing he was back at canine heaven on earth. Highly recommend. Your dog couldn't be in better hands.

They have spent years building relationships with their clients and giving the best care possible and Camp Yellow Dog reflects all of the things I would want for my dog if I had to leave them. This is truly a holiday for dogs!

And if your pet has special needs, or needs a lot of exercise or attention, don't worry -- they will get it. Your only worry will be that it won't want to leave! I highly recommend you check them out.

Our dog has been to Camp a couple of times this year. He enjoys hiking in the beautiful surroundings and then relaxing with the other campers. Thanks Julie and Colin for taking such great care of our dog. We look forward to more visits to Camp Yellow Dog.

Julie is incredibly passionate about providing the best care possibly for our companion animals and takes into account the emotional well-being of each dog that is in her care. She is knowledgeable on dog behaviour and force-free handling and holds a high standard of care. I would not hesitant for a moment to leave my dog in her care or to refer others to do so. The community is very lucky to have a service like this available for our dogs!

He absolutely loves it, coming home exhausted at the end of his day or stay, whichever one I have utilized at the time, given my schedule. The location is absolutely beautiful and I know he has an amazing time. I also know he is in good hands with Julie and Colin. They both have calm, warm energy. You know they truly love the dogs and spend ample time with them. They are so professional and engaged with our four legged family members that are in their care. I cannot say enough about how stress free this is for me - knowing he is in good hands and excited to be with them.
