Adhering to the noble and humane vision of founders Bruno and Gwen Morawetz, Ponacka, 70 years on, is still run by the family through their daughter, Anne and her husband, Don Bocking - himself a camper and counselor. Ponacka promotes a great love for nature, kindness and self-esteem in its' campers. Camp Ponacka is forever a most important touchstone in my life.

Ponacka is a place that teaches you so many things, from skills to values, but also a place where fun never ends.
It has left a mark on my life and I consider it to be one of the experiences that will last forever.

All and all words can't describe how thankful I am to have been lucky enough to enjoy Ponacka! My dad and uncle went to Ponacka when they were kids and I hope to send my kids to Ponacka as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing place for boys to go to camp. I spent nine great summers there from camper to counsellor and the life lessons I learned there I still carry over 35 years later.
Be confident that your kids will be well cared for and more importantly, they will come home a different person (for the better).
Friendships made will last a lifetime.
