Asked my daughter to get an account here so i can do money e transfers to her, she was denied because she didn't have enough income? Whatever happened to the days when you could open a account with $20.00! Poor customer service!!!

A few years ago I try'd getting a mortgage with my spouse . They simply said they would not look up her credit rating because she doesn't have one. Went to another bank she had a better credit rating than me. They always say we can only let you have half your cheque. I'm sorry but after my friend getting bullied out of her position there. Nothing but a petty mentality rolling arround in this bank. Banksters!

We are unfortunately still going through what I would consider to be our worst experience ever with a financial institution. We recently transferred our mortgage here upon maturity as Cambrian had the best rate at the time. I should also mention that throughout the process we also went through a refinancing in order to finish our basement and complete a few other home improvements. We began working with our lender in question approximately three months before our mortgage was actually up for renewal. There were small issues here and there at the beginning, things like lack of attention to details and poor communication. The real issues didn't start until our mortgage actually matured. Poor correspondence, no sense of urgency and an administrative error led to our payout being late to our previous FI. On top of that, our lender has also given us wildly different information in regards to the releasing of funds for our renovations, to this date we still do not understand what their process is and now have vendors awaiting payment and material orders on hold. It has become abundantly clear that this lender is not familiar with her own institutions procedures. The lack of communication, zero sense of urgency, or any kind of compassion or empathy even after we've expressed our deep dissatisfaction has also made it evident that Cambrian's lender does not care about her members. To summarize our experience has been truly horrific. Unfortunately in our case our lender was absolutely incompetent and completely careless. Had I known what this branch had in store for us I would have happily paid a higher rate (yes even on our MORTGAGE) to avoid them. Do not make the same mistakes we did! UPDATE: Just wanted to update this to say I never got a call from anyone regarding this complaint as per their response to this review, as expected....
