During my consultation and previous email communication with Travis, I felt like she took genuine consideration for what I was envisioning my wedding day to look like and wanted to make that happen. She gave great advice as well as suggestions, and made me feel very confident in what I would be getting. I absolutely LOVED my flowers, they were stunning! The archway was incredible, bouquets & boutonnière’s beautiful and my centrepieces, perfect…our wedding guests thought so too. I also appreciated the hand written note that was included with my flowers that day. That kind of detail and thoughtfulness meant a lot. I would recommend Calyx Floral Design to anyone. From their service to their final product of amazing flowers, you won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend going that route if you aren't super particular and just want something classic. That is what you will get when dealing with Travis at Calyx. Being a bride during the pandemic is stressful, but I have learned that as a vendor, she will work with you and do what she can to help make your day special. She created the most amazing and gorgeous flower arrangement that I had ever seen and I loved them so much! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

I was not getting married in my home city, so I had to do research in a lesser known area to find a florist. Living outside of Red Deer, Travis was accommodating by having a video chat with us on a Saturday afternoon. She asked about my preferences (which I understood my favourite flower was well out of season) and she found comparable flowers that would be just as beautiful. She sent the proposal right away and stayed in touch and was flexible with our changes and ideas. I had full trust in Travis and my bouquet ended up being perfect. The colour palate and size was exactly what I wanted even though I couldn't physically see anything before the wedding. My flowers were also packed perfectly for the drive to the venue so this was considered by the team, which was appreciated. I absolutely recommend Travis and Calyx Floral Design if you are getting married in/around Red Deer!

Travis was incredibly accommodating, organized, and flexible as my wedding plans changed multiple times throughout 2021. From the consultation process all the way to the day-of services provided, we were taken care of through and through. They offered great suggestions on how to re-use several pieces in different spaces to cut down on overall costs. My wedding flowers were truly above and beyond anything I ever imagined. They were high quality, fresh, and long lasting. Quite literally perfect! She created floral arrangements that were completely unique to my wedding, and not just a copy-paste off Pinterest or past events. Travis and her team also added some special, unexpected touches here and there that made a huge impact. I would highly recommend everybody to use Calyx Floral Design for all their floral needs.
