★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calvin’s way with me was to keep asking questions about something I said. It was somewhat satisfying to unburden myself by talking about my issue but didn’t really help in the long run. He didn’t tell me what to do to solve my problems. After spending a lot of money on months of weekly sessions, I’m no further ahead and I’m giving up.

In the best sense of being a counsellor, Calvin's outlook is for the whole person, not just to help 'solve' a particular issue.
