J	James Rankin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very pleased with the service I received from Plumbing Doctor. I had a drainpipe that was leaking and did not feel comfortable tackling it on my own. In the end the approach I thought was required never would have worked - and the expert plumber that arrived quickly identified the real source of the problem and resolved it. He took his time to explain the repair and did a great job. My only complaint about the engagement was paying 30 minutes for travel time. In principle I don't have a problem with this as I agree - time is money - but I have my doubts that 30 minutes was required. Also, I'm really on the fringe of where they add on the travel time. My invoice was pretty high as the job did take a fair amount of labour (completely justified) but it made the travel component sting a bit.

So, you can imagine our panic when our only toilet went out of commission! They were able to show up even earlier than estimated which was amazing, they worked quickly, and explained everything they were doing. The rates are also super fair. I’ll be calling them when we’re ready to install that second toilet in our basement (which will be soon, believe me!) Thanks Plumbing Doctor!

This past week we had quite the situation. A pipe in the basement over the hot water tank started leaking. We had to turn off the main water to the house. What made it difficult was the fact we were sick with COVID and under quarantine. I made the call and soon I was speaking with Kelly, the owner, who assured me they would fix the problem. Kelly himself arrived at our house all suited up with PPE and not only fixed the leak by replacing the pipe but made sure toilets etc were working properly before leaving. He even checked the hot water tank! As it was the pilot light was out so he lit it and proceeded to make sure it was also working properly before leaving!! Kelly was very informative the entire time. We communicated by phone with texts and photos of the process. So knowledgeable!! Thanks again Kelly for going above and beyond!!
