★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother had a confirmed appointment for an Angiogram on Feb 5th/18 through a specialist. No time nor other direction were provided. We drove up from Medicine Hat in a horrible blizzard, spent money we could not afford on gas and on a hotel only to find out on the morning of the 5th (after calling the clinic yet again) that they took it upon themselves to cancel her appointment without notifying us. Whoever these receptionists are...they are incompetent, uncompassionate and unprofessional. They did NOT check their messages as we left at least 5 throughout the week before, trying to get more info and a time to arrive. During the brief phone conversation when my mother mentioned these messages she had left, the receptionist tried to turn it around implying that my mother was lying! She also had the nerve to get abrupt and quite rude with my mother. By the end of this conversation my mother was in tears and I was angry. What a way to run a business that is supposed to HELP people, we are extremely disgusted, frustrated and disappointed. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the same problem with booking an appointment to see My Cardiologist Knowing I had the appointment, wasn't worried until it is coming close date and should have been contacted to confirm I was coming. Nothing, phoned the office multiple times with, leave a message someone will contact you within 48 HRS. Know one replies for weeks and then says you don't have an appointment on our books, You Will have to re-book the appointment witch could take months. What a scam. The cardiologist booked the appointment for me. I am sure they are using caller ID and won't answer. My wife phoned with a different phone number and got response second ring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Same as the other two reviews, I need a 3 month follow up after a hospital visit to Dr. Schnell.
I left a voicemail (nobody answers) and no callback. I have given it a week and will try them again but it is not looking promising.
now due to covid the voicemail message says the receptionists are working from home and will not be answering calls. Instead you need to leave a voicemail and pray?
I suggest people also review the MDs poorly on ratemds.com. If they don’t do anything about their bad staff they should be held accountable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My parents have been dealing with the Calgary heart Center for quite sometime. We have had so much frustration when dealing with the reception staff in the past. It seems the staffing has changed and all I can say is it’s about time.
The pleasant new receptionist answers the phone or calls back immediately and she is beyond helpful. I am looking forward to my next interaction with both her and the great Dr. Joshi.
