About Calgary Free Presbyterian Church
Since we are Presbyterian in government, we do not look solely to our pastor for spiritual oversight. We believe in a plurality of elders.
However, at present we do not have our own elected elders, so there is a special commission of two other men from our Presbytery along with our pastor that have primary responsibility for the oversight of our congregation – these men form the Kirk Session.
Besides the Session, our congregation also benefits from the practical service and leadership of our Board of Deacons. Three men make up our Diaconate.

Armen is a God gifted preacher easy to understand and I feel blessed by his message he cares about his congregation! But he loves God and it shows in his message!

It is truly a blessing to hear such faithful and sincere preaching of the Word of God from a passionate minister who loves and cares for the lost souls and who also leads and guides God's children gently in their walk with Him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were greatly blessed as we worshipped among God's people at this church, during our vacation in Calgary in June 2015.
There was a real sense of God's presence as His word was faithfully preached. There was a holy reverence to the word of God. Everyone was friendly and took time to welcome and talk with strangers, appearing genuinely happy to do so. A real warmth here.
We also had the privilege to join with the congregation at their midweek prayer meeting and bible study. This was a blessing indeed. Brokenness and and a real crying out to God was evident.
We trust and pray that the Pastor, his family and this Church will be a blessing to many.
