★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ez tax does offer a friendly and quick tax preperation service. They are good for personal taxes but not corporate taxes. I recently had my past 2 years (personal/corp) audited by another tax company and they found $3800 in missed deductions. I dont have the easiest returns but if they would have taken the time to understand everything, this could have been avoided. If you have ever done your Corp taxes with Ez tax, it's worth getting a second opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was thinking of coming because of the reviews. One review made me investigate the other reviews and it's quite accurate. Many of these reviews are not actual users of this service. It looks shady when you are looking at using a company to help you with tax services and they can't rely on there own actual service to get credible reviews. Shady business practices for something that is quite serious to people and family's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely poor service! My family and I tried to do are taxes here. First it took almost a month for them to do our taxes. Then when they finally did I noticed they did not file that we have kids. Also did not put that I was a Canadian citizen. Then they fixed them and told me that it only saves me $300 when I put my dependents on there... They don't seem to realize that would affect our child tax all year! Thousands of dollars not just $300. I then asked for my money back. Also the manager got involved and said we are very sry you can have your money back and we will file your taxes for free this year. 2 days later the e-mail was gone and my portal through them has been shut down. Very poor business if you ask me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a business who only cares about making the most money possible (even over billing customers) while executing least amount of work possible and they aren't cheap, they're on par with everyone else doing returns. We have done our personal taxes with EZ-Tax for the past two years, both times they tried to bill us with extras for services that they either a) did not perform or b) bill extra time for work they failed to do in the first place (and we caught) - our taxes are not complex.
The accountant working on our file would only return our emails and phone calls in the beginning when he needed information, after that when we had questions regarding our returns, we were only permitted to talk to their Office Manager - who has an attitude for everything that questions their staff or work. We had to push to get the information we needed (that should have been told to us in the first place) you would expect a professional to advise you on what is a write-off.
We are highly considering having our taxes re-done by another accountant to see if there are errors (which we truly believe that there likely are). Find another accountant or go to H&R Block or Turbo Tax - it will probably cost less or similar, be done correctly and you'll get some helpful advice for claimable expenses for your next years' taxes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor response time. I have tried emailing them a few times regarding my taxes as there was an issue with the child tax benefit and no one has responded to me. I would like this sorted out ASAP and cannot due so without them responding. For $175 for a basic personal tax return, I am very dissapointed in this service. I would like a refund for the headache I have to deal with now.
Edit: You did not respond to "several emails", your office finally responded after I had to email your office multiple times regarding the situation. It would have been nice to have had someone respond alot sooner so I didn't have to spend hours on the phone with the CRA to find out what the issue was.
