Dr. Khosla has been an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) with a fellowship in retina since 1988, having worked at renowned institutes in Asia and the Middle East. He now offers comprehensive ophthalmological services in Calgary, including consultations, diagnostics, minor operative procedures, and laser eye surgeries. He is currently a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, the Eye Physicians, and Surgeons of Alberta. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Koshla is an excellent eye specialist and we are very happy that we got to know him and his clinic in Airdrie. He has since been taking care of my mom very well and was able to find a remedy to her eye issues. From the very first consultation to our present regular check ups, my mom always ended up getting encouraging results. It may be a slow and methodical process, but the end results have always been positive. Their new clinic is very modern and clean in design and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The new testing rooms are very updated too. There is ample free parking. We are very pleased that we have a go-to eye doctor that is truly a specialist and we highly recommend him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not recommend this Calgary Eye Specialist Clinic, based on my experience.
Reasons:
- Took 3 appointments to get test results (original consultation, testing day, results)... why was this not combined into 1 or even 2 appointments...
- Showed up for my 3rd "results" appointment on time... Waited for 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled before having to leave to get back to work.
I thought the staff were quite friendly and doctors seemed to know what they were talking about, but the lack of respect for their patients time was disapointing. I will be not be returning to this eye doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unorganized. I came here to get form filled for Calgary Police Job. On the phone they told me 100$ for all of itt. But when I got there they asked for 300$ and I have to come another day for the rest of tests. I explained on the phone before booking appointment that I need all these tests.

I felt much more listened to this time and more clear about what my next steps can be. Thank you for making the time for a thorough conversation.
I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Dr. Khosla looked at my eyes for about five seconds, announced that my eyes were extremely dry and my ducts were clogged and that's why my vision was sometimes blurry. The front desk will sell me some eye drops and a hot compress and I can come back for a more thorough (and I'm sure expensive) treatment if those don't work. He kind of snapped at me when I asked if the clogged ducts were something he could see from his inspection (it seemed like the sort of thing that would be internal - I don't know). It was my first time here so maybe everyone was just having a bad day. The tech seemed grouchy too. I suspect that dryness is indeed part of the problem, but I'm unconvinced it is THE problem or completely unrelated despite also completely coinciding time-wise with another medical diagnosis I have that is known to affect vision. Either way, I feel that considering how long I'd been waiting for this appointment (months), how much discomfort I've been in, stress about career because I now can't see properly at any distance and can barely work a 0.5 workload, he could have presented a more thoughtful and considered-seeming diagnosis.

Would not recommend this doctor, saw doctor for a few minutes about right eye, explained dry eye syndrome, then recommended a kit, asked if it was covered by Alberta Health, he said yes. Then had an eye exam that I did not request. Poked his head in the door during exam, which I thought was very unprofessional. Receptionist came out with a kit that was recommended, it cost $157.00. Stopped at Safeway & got something that worked & only cost $10.99. “Money Pit”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both of my eyes have been red for over a month and I’ve been seeing my family physician for weeks now and nothing changed. I came in to this clinic and saw Dr. Toor. After seeing her, both my eyes feel better and are finally clear and not red all the time. If I could give 100 stars I would. I’ve lived in Calgary for over 40 years and I must say I’ve never experienced such excellent bedside manner from ANY doctor. She is so caring and actually listens unlike other doctors who just talk over you. The atmosphere was welcoming. They have a colourful theme in their clinic and that was absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you Dr. Toor and Staff for taking such excellent care of me. I will be back for all my eye checks. You rock!!
