The worst doctors office ever. Never had problems like this ever with my other doctors

Dr. Jones, please retire. You clearly don't. care anymore. I usually enjoy a visit to the Dr. but not this morning. Yes I was 15 minutes late and so Dr. Jones was understandably(?) hurried when I checked in. I was on crutches so moving fast was not an option. Unfortunately my phone rang as I got up to enter the office. I went to turn it off in my bag. This seemed to annoy Dr. Jones as he scolded me for my tardiness. Frusturated at the lack of professionalism and understanding that should ge given by a highly paid healthcare professional, I loudly shared with him that I commuted an hour to the office and pointed out I was on crutches, so please pardon my lateness... I am the patient and you are the doctor, right? Now in the office, the first (and only?) question he asked was what leg was injured. Dr. Jones neglected to ask how I injured myself or if I had seen another health care professional. Did you read my file or not? Didn't seem like it even though you had 15 whole minutes to prepare whilst I hastily arrived. During the painful examination I came to tears which he clearly neglected although I shared I was in pain. Dr. Jones said that he could not complete a thorough examination without hurting me. Really?!!!!.... harsh. He advised me to ice my knee, and see a physio therapist. Both suggestions I had already began. If only he had asked. Overall this was the worst experience of my life with a doctor. I really try to stay out of the system to allow more room for those in need. Perhaps this is what is supposed to happen? Dr. Jones, please retire. You clearly don't. care anymore. I did enjoy my communication with the rest of the staff at the clinic and usually do. Thank you for your help.

Poor communication and I’ve had several negative experiences there a few years ago which is a shame because I was born and raised in Nanaimo and I spent most of my years going to this clinic. Everybody back then was so polite and genuinely cared about their patients but something has changed there over the last several years. I’m not sure where the problem is coming from but I am assuming it has to do something with management. I decided to change doctors and to go elsewhere and now everything is fantastic for me.

The worst clinic with very unfriendly unhelpful receptionist, extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ve been living with a condition for 3 months and have had to come back multiple times on my days off and the proper tests have still not been performed. I hope they get shut down. Dr. Dunsten Adams please retire

Nice new, fresh clinic! It feels so inviting and happy in there, my favorite doctors office I've ever been to. The staff is great and the organization is impressive. Wonderful.

Several days I've tried to get through and get the message: we are too busy to answer the phone please try again later My moms doctor is at this clinic And he wants to see her, so I guess I have to drive in to book an appt?!? Terrible system Any other clinic puts you on hold

I have been a patient of Dr Boshoff for almost 14 years, as well as my daughter, and he is an absolutely awesome Doctor, never walked away feeling less than satisfied with the visit. I'll agree with others regarding unbelievable wait times, unfortunately this seems to happen more often than not, or at least it used to but I haven't been into the new office at all yet, so hopefully that's no longer an issue, but also something my Dr has always been super apologetic for anytime it's happened, he makes it clear if your more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time he won't be able to see you that day and you'll have to reschedule. Maybe more of the Doctors there should do this and appointments wouldn't be so backed up. Just a thought.

This Clinic is a major upgrade from the old one that was in the same mall. Brand new facility with so much more room and doctors. Receptionist's are far better, more polite, more helpful, less wait times on the phone. Nurse's station is a great new addition! I was there for my wife's appointment. I asked one of the nurses if she would have time to take out a stitch that was left in me from a procedure I had at the hospital a few days prior and she did it no questions asked and without me having an appointment. Very impressed with this new clinic and all the wonderful staff that go along with it! Keep up the good work folks ???
