T	Tom Moloney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caffé Trieste is a relaxing oasis in Calgary's busy downtown core. The ambiance is casual yet elegant. There are no hot plates, but the menu of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches have an authentic Italian flavour and freshness. The interior features comfortable leather couches as well as tables with café chairs. The crystal chandeliers add to the ambiance. The window looks down on a busy Stephen Avenue intersection yet remains private at this height. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. There are 'dolce' desserts for purchase as well. There aren't many cafés around that will serve Brunello di Montalcino by the glass! Bellissimo! Access is on the third level of the CORE shopping centre.
S	Sophia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I legitimately left this place confused. The prices are way too high considering the portions and the service. My friend and I ordered the bruschetta (20 dollars) to share, as it was under sharables on the menu. We recieved two very small pieces of bread each alongside a tiny mug of bruschetta. The quality was fine but the price was ridiculous. I also didn't have a great experience with the coffee I ordered, it was mostly milk. The barista was nice enough, but I didn't feel like the service matched up to the prices. He didn't bring the food over to our table, which at lots of places I would understand, however for the price point and the fact that the cafe was basically empty I just did not understand why. I understand that that is probably not his fault as an individual, I just feel like that is a standard which should have been met. I work in the food and service industry and my experience here to be honest was sort of laughable, I probably won't be coming here again.
B	Bharti Mehta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cafe. They have one of the best coffee and can modify it as per your requirements. We also tried their croissant and a dessert ( forgot the name) and it was the best! Cannot wait to come back and try a few more desserts.
G	Genya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outrageous prices! Took a friend for a coffee date and spent $25 on two coffees and a slice of carrot cake! Mind you, their cakes don’t have price labels anywhere, so was too embarrassed to return it when the total came up on the machine. The receipt also doesn’t show line items with prices, had to check with the barrister and he said the slice of cake is $11. Well next time I will surely avoid this place all together.

A	Ari beri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little cafe in the core. It used to look intimidating to me because it seemed very fancy (which it is), but once you go in you are always greeted by very friendly staff. The condensed milk latte is one of my favourites. Worth the trip to the trip up the mall!!
T	T Win on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the posh yet cozy design of Cafe Trieste (red carpet I am looking at you)! ? : They serve not only coffee/desserts, but also a variety of food or light lunch options, and alcoholic beverages. Very spacious with lots of seating area (with conversation level more like white noise instead of having to eavesdrop on everyone’s conversations). Seating ranges from high bar stools, to sofa seats, with a beautiful view of the downtown streets. Cleanest/crispest latte art design I have seen in a long time. The milk did not separate too quickly from the espresso layer and the design stayed even after several sips. The taste was balanced and was not too bitter or too sweet. Will definitely come back to try food/alcoholic bevs! ?: I saw only 1 outlet to charge phone/device (but it encourages real life conversations, so who cares).

The décor, the photos of places in Italy (brought back memories of when I lived there for more than 8 years) to their coffee, which is THE BEST!! The coffee, the espresso or latte is so smooth and full of flavor, you will not be disappointed if you try this place. Super convenient because it is in the downtown Calgary Core shopping center, stop in while out and about doing your shopping for a relaxing coffee... my husband and I do this every Saturday afternoon but to be totally honest... Caffe Trieste is the only reason why we go to the Core Shopping Center, it is our favorite place!! AND... the staff are super friendly and helpful. What more to love, right!!
