We had to wait a good 30 minutes but it was so worth it. We got the bites with the yogurt dipping sauce, the eggplant dish with eggs and pancakes! Everything was nice. We will definitely be back!

My family and I, had a great brunch at Cafe landwer. I will recommend to eat the fluffy pancakes, the coffee and the mimosas were really good too! Daniel was our server and he did a great job, he was very attentive and very kind. The shakshuka was good but I feel it can improve on the flavour, the tomato sauce was a little bitter and the halloumi pieces were too small and maybe a little too over granting. Overall a great experience!

Our day almost got ruined because of this one server with a big attitude. My friend had to tell them we didn’t want to be served by her 10 minutes into entering the restaurant. Other than that, the food was excellent and the new staffs helping us were super nice and processional. We’re willing to come back, but hopefully we can avoid the server next time.

Excellent place with excellent food! Would definitely come back. Recommend to book a reservation however we did walk in for late-lunch with no problem. A pro: You can order and pay online and it will be served to your table; or order at the table. We tried: Oat latte, Shakshuka (!!!that Moroccan pita, recommend at least 2/person!!!), Hummus topped with chicken, Landwer’s Belgian waffle, Chocolate Nutella halva

Ambiance is bright and has old school almost diner vibes. Got the Mediterranean shakshuka and it was tasty, good for two people to share for a light breakfast (might need more bread though if sharing). The service was not great however. We were not checked up on, and had to stand up and ask for the bill several times. We also had to flag them over to get some water refills.

Food decor and service shouts aloud β€œExcellent β€œ Loved the atmosphere, it’s warm and welcoming with delicious, finger licking food. They serve vegan vegetarian options and a great place for a peaceful cup of coffee and me time or celebrating with friends and family and indulging in a hearty brunch. A favourite.

Visited Cafe Landwer one Thursday evening for dinner. Didn’t have reservations but we were seated right away (opted to sit inside but there’s a sidewalk patio available). Interior was really nice, gave true cafe vibes. Staff was really friendly, our waiter checked on us frequently and gave us some solid recommendations. Service was fast. The Truffle Mushroom & Cream Pappardelle was very delicious. There are some vegetarian friendly options as well. Definitely recommend checking out! Price $$-$$$.

Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants. They have a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, they are situated on the very busy University Avenue. Their food is fantastic! Paired with great service and ambience, this restaurant is great for dining alone, for dates, or hang out with friends/family. This location also has a good takeout counter, for fast coffee pick up!
