A	Anselm K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at the Hilton Thursday night with my brother and dad for a hockey game in town and we ended up picking the Tundra restaurant within the hotel for a pre-game meal. My dad and brother went with the Smoked chicken salad, and for myself - I had the Loaded cheek and chuck burger. The food took roughly 30 minutes to arrive with low traffic. I enjoyed the burger and fries as they were very hot upon receiving it. I could not say the same for my brother and dad - who were underwhelmed with their salads as the portion was small with very few chicken pieces. In addition, the roasted chicken did not taste roasted at all. Could have been an off-night but we were disappointed with our choice in dining on our Toronto night stay. Seems more like an area to enjoy drinks and not dine.

Update: the organization reached out to me to discus my review. The gentleman apologized and offered my wife and I a complimentary meal when/if we return to Toronto. He also mentioned that he would hold training to address the issue, so it wouldn't happen again. I hope all of this is true. At no time did he ask that I revise my review - which is why I'm doing so.
t	tom a on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Japan:) Wonderful quality food in downtown Toronto. I was so impressed by Tundra bowl we had for appetizer. Tofu, edamame, quinoa and avocado surprisingly and greatly harmonize each other, and I love it. Veggie big plate was also great.

June 29th 2018- Revisited this place. Food got a lot better! Service was good on Friday night. Plate of food looked great! Did a 5 course meal and every plate was delicious. Live singer was great. Atmosphere was awkward. May need to revisit. No signs of this place still and no one knows of this restaurant. Over shadowed by Ruth Chris' steakhouse. Need more exposure cause food was great.

We ordered an apitizer of squid and I had a roasted hen as main dish. 10mins after I finished my food, I felt uncomfort in my stomach, and had to run to lady's room for an unexpected diarrhea. I immediately thought of the dry squid that I had, which didn't feel fresh from my first bite. Super disappointed food and will never visit again. I hope you guys first focus on the quality of food because everything else is a nice-to-have. Plus they are not cheap at all.

The server was rude and was very impatient. Kept telling us to hurry which was very disheartening and felt like he had other things to do. Food was Luke warm and the potatoes cold. Very disappointed in this dining experience.
L	Lucas Pellegroms on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had breakfast and our waiter Ryan was nice. The breakfast was pricy for what it was but the service was good. Came back in the evening for dinner and drinks at the bar. Our bartender George was phenomenal, absolutely incredible and one of the best bartenders I’ve had in a while. Drinks were priced standardly for a bar and he made them well, satisfied with the value. I had the turkey club for dinner and it was probably the best turkey club I have ever had, EXTREMELY recommend it. Dinner items were priced fair and were delicious so zero complaints there. Overall will not return for breakfast but will certainly stop by for dinner and/or drinks again next time we’re in the area! note: I would have given 4.5 stars if possible, the ONLY thing preventing this from being 5 stars is the pricing of their breakfast items . It was 8$ for a bagel with cream cheese and $4.5 per cup of coffee (no free refills, even when dining in)

The reason I rated 4 stars was because the service was a bit cold and lacking. It seemed like we were inconveniencing them by choosing to eat at their restaurant. I think it would be busier if there was a friendlier more inviting staff.
