★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feels like it’s gone downhill. They said they could make most the breakfast items vegan but this was not the case. Tofu scrambler was the vegan option but I was hoping for something different this time. What I ended up with was pretty shabby and boring. My company who had a vegetarian breakfast with eggs wasn’t that impressed either. Strange because we have been going there for many years and recall it being much better. I actually once had the best vegan burger there I have ever had there…. I wouldn’t expect that today though because the vegan options and extras (like vegan cheese etc) have dwindled. I don’t think I’ll be back soon for food because there are so many great burger and breakfast joints in the city offering better vegan and veg options. Latte was great though. Could see stopping by for a coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly impressed by delicious ? & bountiful plate of cinnamon fresh toast w/orange zest accompanied by fresh fruit. Initially I thought of having just a toasted bagel w/cream cheese but changed mind, happily.
It was also a nice treat being served by Audrey as she was very personable & genuinely friendly. Unlike young blonde that served my 2 friends I was obviously with & then when I was ready, she walked away w/no mention of returning nor acknowledging me or sharing that another would take my order.
Win win for me in the end, as good prices, great food & great service, thanks to Audrey. Definitely will go again even if only to eat on my own in this long lived, vegetarian restaurant. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is okay. Deserts are great! Coffee is okay. I like that this place doesn’t check for vaccine passport so I can take anyone here. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is like a neighbourhood cafe where you know all the regulars. I wish it was open earlier but that’s just a personal desire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cute cafe with really reasonably priced food. Because it's a cafe the vaccine passport was not required. It's a little dark inside but a nice escape from Commercial Drive. Lots of different choices of food. I ordered a cup of chili and it was delicious.
The tables are spread out so you are able to easily social distance.
