The worst. Took one bite of each dish. Paid the bill and left $88 dollars worth of food sitting on the table.

Used to eat here often when living in Edmonton about 5 years ago. Waitress remembered us, and the service was friendly with lots of thank you's. They may have gotten a new cook though, because the food wasn't as good as in the past, and there was less meat than in the former days. We were pleasantly surprised, however, with the streamed fish - one taken from one of their aquariums. Very tasty, tho kind of pricey at $15 per pound. This one weighed at most 1 pound cooked, but they charged $30, maybe because she had estimated that the small fish in the tanks weigh "about 2 pounds." Oh well we pay for our experiences. But on the positive side, their hot & sour soup remains one of the best in Edmonton. And the sizzling pan of eggplant was quite memorable. Huge container of streamed rice was a bonus, enough for 7 of us eating. Cost was $130 before the tip, which was okay. They offered a "Dinner for 4" or was it 5? But for the same price, we got to choose our favorite dishes. Will go back - especially for the soup.

We often come here for family dinner because the service is friendly and quick. The kitchen graciously agreed to put together a fabulous 10-course vegetarian menu for us to celebrate my oldest son's union with his wife. The food was delicous and the presentation was great! Thank you again from the Wong Family.

The spicy crispy pork chops and spicy srimps are the best in town, the chicken fried rice its awesome and the wor wonton soup its amazing the rest of the food it's a hit and miss. When you order spicy crispy porkchops make sure ask the male chef/cook is the one cooking because the lady cook/chef lives the pork chops very soggy.

The chef is really good, and fast! There's no MSG in the food - which is amazing since it's so tasty! While the service is not very pleasant, the waitressing is efficient. The portions were a reasonable size for the prices of the items. We keep going there because the food is so good and we kind of accept the quiet, non-conversational / non-interactive service we get, every time. Still would recommend this restaurant though.

Thought I’d order through Skip the dishes, oodle noodle was closed & I’ve eaten here a few years ago (the wor wonton soup was memorable). Anyways I wanted a wonton soup with noodles, they had β€œstewed beef and wonton noodle soup” YIKES! The beef was like chewing on a piece of gum, the broth was bland & wontons looked & tasted questionable, I also ordered deep fried squid in spicy salt (I had a bite) that was all. However...the country style vermicelli was okay, could use a little more flavour though. Needless to say....I’ll stick to oodle noodle when I’m craving the good stuff...I’ll even wait until they open.

One of my favorite authentic Chinese restaurants that my family and I have been coming to for years. The hot and sour soup is hearty and the best in the city! Friendly staff as well. Underrated and consistent food quality.
