Jean-Marc is the senior advisor and President of C.I. Financial Ltd. He has been in the industry for over 28 years and has created a well-respected, leading financial services organization. He attributes his success by creating simple concepts of mastering the basics and teaching it to others.

Jean-Marc believes in giving back to the community. He has served on numerous committees and boards including the Manulife Securities Advisory board, Manulife Bank Advisory board and is currently serving on the L’Abbe foundation board.

He believes in living a balanced life and therefore is active in his local church, and also has been a football official for 3 years.

He has mentored many individuals as they came into the industry that now have experienced success of their own.
Jean-Marc’s experience and ideas have been instrumental in the development of guidelines and practices that have been implemented by associations, financial organizations and independent advisors throughout Canada.

Jean-Marc and his wife Josée have been married for over 31 years and have three sons: Jean-Philippe, Sébastien and Yannick.

Josée is the Managing Partner and administrator of the office’s finances including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

As we all know, Josée is married to Jean-Marc and has three sons: Jean-Philippe who is 27 years old, Sébastien who is 24, and Yannick who is 22.

Jean-Philippe is the office manager as well as an advisor. Jean-Philippe is responsible for managing day to day operations as well as staffing and licensing. He is also on the development team for ongoing marketing plans to inform our clients about their existing portfolio and any future new products that may be relevant to their situation.
He is our Network technologist administrator and maintains the databases and researches software and hardware for networking security and efficiency. Jean-Philippe also maintains all our day-to-day computer and networking needs. He has over 15 years of computer building and networking experience.

Lisa Vanstone is our Investment Service Coordinator. Lisa provides the administrative support for the wealth management side of CI Financial. Lisa is originally from Vancouver Island, BC where she worked for a local Credit Union. She comes to CI Financial after working locally within the financial community for 8 years. Lisa and her husband moved their family to Sherwood Park in 2005 and have yet to regret the decision. She has two daughters, her oldest is currently attending University and her youngest is “thinking about it”.

Sandy Cathcart is our Client Services Coordinator. She is responsible for answering calls, booking appointments for clients and updating client files. She also coordinates business trips and other miscellaneous administration duties within the office. Sandy has over 15 years’ experience in Office Administration, Accounting, and Customer Service. Sandy has worked in the Financial Industry for more than 10 years. Sandy is a proud mother of a beautiful daughter, 2 wonderful sons and a grandson. She was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom for many years. Sandy has been involved in many associations over the years. She is currently involved in the Parent’s Committee for the 2551 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp. Sandy moved to Alberta in 2000, and enjoys the quiet of living out in the country.
