★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why Google wants me to review a building (Georgia building where London Drugs is), but ok.
Let's see... The inside is coated with paint that literally clings to the walls, flooring that clings to the ground, and ceiling tiles that cling to the ceiling. If you're looking for a building that leaves you feeling surrounded by cling - look no further. You're at the right place, my friend.
Escalators escalate, and when they don't, the staff escalates that to the engineer so you can be up (or down) on your way up and down. 5 stars to the staff that works there!
Oh, and get this - doors not only open on their own, but they close too. I stood in front of one absolutely mesmerized. It took me 6 hours to figure out why would one make the mechanism do a futile thing such as closing the door, only to be retracted next time someone comes up to it, but then I realized that whoever designed it is a genius that surely thought of everything: if the door didn't close, it would remain open. If it remained open, it couldn't retract open again when the next person came up to it. If the door couldn't open, someone would have to put a sign on it. But if retracted, there's no door there to put a sign on - it's already retracted. Which can really complicate things for the repair technician. They could accidentally fix something that's already fixed instead, and then they'd have to wait until that thing breaks twice before they could repair it again. Which takes time and puts other things that need fixing on hold. If this cascade of failures were allowed to happen, at our current interoperability dependence, god only knows what the world might look like just 10 years down the road (let alone 11).
Oh, and the security kept coming up to me to ask if I needed help while I was there staring at the door. Kudos for attentiveness!
