After many conversations, emails back and forth, sending proof of vaccination, setting up payment set up and booking 3 visits, I received an email to inform me that my time was given to someone else. Owner(Kathy) was thoroughly unprofessional and inconsiderate.
K	King Kraken on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cathy, the owner, was extremely unprofessional and problematic to deal with. After we scheduled appointments, she sent us many emails - sometimes three times a day -then cancelled our appointments when we did not respond. To clarify, we did not respond to emails sent less than 12 hours prior to cancellation, and this was after repeated confirmations. Cathy behaved inappropriately, repeatedly making inappropriate remarks about her neighbours while we were there. She also changed her mind and refused to allow us to use open studio time despite my being an experienced potter as I am not a "certified potter", even though there is no such thing. I suspect she was pressing us to attend classes so she could make extra. Overall, the studio was cramped, but fine; it is the owner's intolerable behaviour that has made me feel this way. I can not recommend this studio after the ridiculous treatment we experienced. To Summarize: Cathy is unprofessional, cancelled without a real reason after multiple confirmations, and tried to force us to pay for classes. It's far more headache than it's worth.

Cathy supplies all the necessary tools and will even drop them off! In the spirit of transparency, we did have a few issues that led me to write a rather unfavourable google review. As soon as Cathy read the review she was in touch with me right away and went above and beyond to address our concerns. I suspect, like many independently owned businesses, COVID has really disrupted her world. I would absolutely use her service again!
