LONG TERM REVIEW - 5 STARS This is a long term review of Burloak Basement Renovations. I normally wait years to give reviews as I like to see how projects holds up and not give a company a glowing review the week after the project. My Basement was completed in 2017 and was built using Permits from the Town Of Milton. When selecting a contractor for my Basement Renovation I interviewed 5 contractors from all over the GTA (I'm very detailed and do my research on the business, cost and materials) All the companies were listed on the Baeumler Approved site. I thought I had my mind made up, but last on the list was Julian from Burloak Basement Renovations. I knew after I met Julian that this was the company I was going to select. Julian checked all my boxes from Pricing to Permits and more! The payment schedule and deposit was prefect. Work was completed before the next payment was due. The other companies interviewed wanted 30%, 40%, or even 50% up front. Red flag for me. Burloak started right on time as agreed. Natalie and Julian were very easy to deal with. Natalie was always available when I needed to reach her. Always reliable and very communicative. The Crew was polite, respectful and courteous and I did not have any concerns with them being in the home when I wasn't around. The subcontractors Julian used were equally as professional, which made it a pleasure to work with them all. All the building materials were high-quality. I preferred spending extra $$$ on the materials you don't see (Subfloor, Spray-Foam, Sound Proofing, Lighting, and Windows) The project was to be completed in 4 weeks. It took 5 1/2 weeks, in no means was the delay caused Natalie or Julian. It was the supplier of the custom shower glass door and the shipping delay. Julian and the crew do great quality work! No issues when it came to the Permit process or the Town inspector. Everything was A+ As a tough to please client I was impressed across the board with Julian and the team, I have no reservations in recommending them. I couldn't be happier with the level of service, quality of work, and final result. You will not regret hiring Burloak Basements. We are very happy with our basement. It was a reluctant project for us because we never used our basement before. Julian got us excited about the potential and he was right - we love the basement and are using it far more than we imagined. It was easy and fun to work with Burloak Basements. Burloak Basements was excellent to work with. They did a complete basement renovation including adding a bathroom and seperate laundry room. The space planning of the basement was excellent. We can use every inch and it was all finished beautifully. The team was courteous, clean and followed safety protocols. I would absolutely reccomend their services.

Burloak completed a demolition of existing basement from previous home owners, and a complete remodel to help us build our dream basement. The experience incredible and completed as discussed with a high degree of communication throughout. The quality their trade partners was also impressive. Burloak finished our basement in the spring/summer of 2021. The result was great. Despite delays caused by the province’s lockdown, Burloak completed the project based on the original quotation and did not attempt to increase the cost. They were always responsive and offered us to upgrade to vinyl flooring when the laminate flooring we chose was out of stock at no extra cost.
