Ky and his team were recommended by a friend who used them years ago. Ky was able to fit us in right away and got the job done quickly and professionally. Thank you for giving us a brand new non-gym looking floor!

I'm not sure that I've ever left a Google Review for a business before but in this case I feel strongly that I need to and consider this a public service! If you're like me and are looking for someone to re-finish your hardwood floors I'm going to guess that you found two companies in the Calgary area that seem like good options: Bull Tough and Advantage Flooring. Unlike me do yourself a favour and call Bull Tough. We had initially hired Advantage but ended up working with Bull Tough because Advantage walked off the job. Having now worked with both companies I can say that the difference is night and day. It's not that Advantage is completely illegitimate. They do do this kind of work they just aren't the 5 star contractors you think you're getting from their Google reviews (which in hindsight are pretty suspicious...). They are hard to work with and the quality of the work they did for me was subpar. In our case they left chatter marks and the wood exhibited a fair amount of dish out (you might want to google these terms to see what I'm talking about). Then when we complained they made no effort to fix the job and simply walked off (thankfully without us having paid them but it was still quite an experience!). On the other hand, Ky at Bull Tough took pity on us after this experience and he and his crew came in and fixed the work left from Advantage! Ky is very easy to work with, had great suggestions and to make sure we got exactly the finish we wanted he prepared a very cool mural on the floor so we can see what the different options would look like. Ultimately, the floor we ended up with is better for the suggestions and was finished at a much higher standard than I think we ever could have achieved working with Advantage. I've included a few photos of the work that Bull Tough did and the last image shows the chatter marks and dish out that Advantage tried to convince me was normal. Anyway, if you manage to find this review please do yourself a favour and find a way to work with Bull Tough and not Advantage.

After speaking to a few flooring companies who gave us completely wrong information, we ended up hiring the Bull Tough Flooring Team to refinish our hardwood floors. They did a phenomenal job! I couldn't be happier with the results. Ky and his team did an absolutely amazing job. They were on time, communicated well, pricing was great, hardworking and they do impeccable work. They made the process so easy and convenient. I would highly recommend them for any of your hardwood needs.

Bull Tough Flooring are the absolute dream team—they listened to what we needed, were very flexible with timing, and went above and beyond to make sure our floors looked good. We needed to refinish about 800-1000sq ft parquet in our apartment that was in a bad way—some was so utterly water-damaged I'd resigned myself to covering it with carpet (as other flooring companies told us they wouldn't touch it because of the damage). However, the Bull folks came in and not only refinished everything, but found time to mend the water-damaged parquet on the same day. Our floors went from a mess to fresh and clean in the space of 8 hours. I couldn't recommend them more. The team are friendly, efficient, and all-around good folks. Hands down: look no further if you need your floors refinished. Bull Tough Flooring ar the team for you!

We cannot say enough good things about this company. Exceptional workmanship, friendly and professional employees, and five star service. They feathered in new hardwood flooring absolutely seamlessly with our existing beat up hardwood floor and sanded and refinished all to match perfectly. We were charged exactly what was quoted and Ky was in constant communication always keeping us in the loop. I cannot describe the absolute precision. Use them - you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Thanks Ky, What an awesome transformation... from scratched, orange, and dated to brown and modern. The whole experience was great and we really appreciated all the efforts in helping choose the best stain and working within our crazy painting schedule. The flooring looks great, the house was left clean and tidy, and the process was simple, efficient and fairly priced. The custom stained vent covers to match also look great! We have already passed out your name to a couple of friends and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you guys to anyone.

Ky and his team did such a great job on our floors! We bought a new house with very scratched hardwood but still liked the colour of the floors. They did a maintenance coat which took the high shine away and made them look so much better. You can only see some light scratching if you look at certain angles, which we were expecting as we didn't do a full sanding and refinishing. This was such a cost effective way to make them look SO great! We would definitely use Bull Tough again down the road if we ever need to refinish once the kids are older! They were also so friendly and you can tell they really care about their work. Thanks guys!!

Bull Tough Flooring is amazing! We are so happy with our floors - they took the original hardwood, with several dents/scratches and discoloring to an entirely new look.
