β β β β β Literally as a business owner who gets a few supplies from bulk barn, Iβve never dreaded going into a store more during the managers hours. Every. Single. Time. That I am there while he is, he gives me a difficult time, whether itβs picking up an online order and saying itβs not fair I get first pick of the bakery boxes (why have them online if itβs that big of a deal to you dude) or after I walk in and sanitize my hands, which is their protocol he tryβs to physically stop me until he can tell me their procedures. Last time I was there I finally told him thatβs on here literally weekly and none of the staff tell me because they know Iβm a regular. He is VERY rude. I try to avoid this bill barn/going during his hours whenever I can. Iβll literally drive all the way to grant or mcgillvary if I have to.

β β β β β Very kind staff there. Was on the phone telling my sibling what I was looking for and the lady in the store overheard and showed me where to find it. Great customer service.
They will even accommodate early curb side pick up orders if needed. It was extra helpful for me living outside of the city.
Great job!

β β β β β There is a man working here who is really rude, way past unfriendly. He is the reason for so many of the negative comments and I add mine here. I have the option to choose another store, which I will. I feel sorry for the lovely staff that have to work with him, he is so miserable. I feel sorry for him too, living in that head must be so awful. Customer Service 101 - never tell a customer that they "have to" do something. They don't...they can move on to another store. I have been supporting this store since it opened, even when it was really inconvenient. No more. bye bye.

β β β β β I asked when going into store if there was a coupon for the week. I live out of town. Young man said I had to go online and look. Went back to car and got my phone. When showing the cashier my phone she didn't scan the code. She had a card by the till to use. All other bulkbarns in the city are so helpful. Sad this one isn't.

β β β β β If you dont want people wearing backpacks while shopping then enforce a rule. Having a little creep follow me around the store while I try and compare prices and do math is unacceptable. People are anxious enough as it is. I don't need a 12 year old boy watching me like I'm some active threat or checking me out. Either way, get back in your lane buddy.

β β β β β Ordered online and they doubled up on cake pans (we ordered 2βx6β, they gave us those AND 3βx6β). They asked which pans we needed so I and an associate went and picked out the 2β pans. Unbeknownst to us, they had already given us and charged us for the 3β on the online order. The 2β had to be rung in separately because I picked them out then. Apparently cake pans are non-refundable, and since we didnβt keep the receipt for the separate in store purchase of 2β pans, they wouldnβt believe us that we did not ask for the 3β pans.
To sum up, they charged us for an item we never asked for, then refused to accept an unopened return WITH the receipt because we didnβt have the SECOND receipt proving I had also purchased 2β pans.

β β β β β Standard product rotation for bulk barn is, dump the old product on top of the new binβ¦ but what if your product is rancid? Well then dump the new product on the old to hide it.
Store policy is once the product leaves the store, itβs non returnable. Which is understandable itβs food and can be contaminated. Ok fine. Thatβs not the issue.
Why when a customer complains would you then choose to hide the issue? Case in point: White Almond Bark. You had a customer complain, you told them everything was ok. So I wanted to see how you rectified this. Firstly you lied and told them everything was ok, but you hid that old rancid product under the fresh product. As a paying customer, you sold me rancid product, you have been given the opportunity to fix this before I even stepped in your store. You did not.
Thank goodness the Winnipeg Health Authority will field a complaint.
