J'Ă©cris ce long commentaire car j'ai cherchĂ© des avis d'utilisateurs et n'en ai pas trouvĂ© avant d'utiliser ce logiciel. J'avais beaucoup d'espoir avec ce logiciel qui a une belle prĂ©sentation, qui est souvent citĂ© comme une bonne ressource, qui est qualifiĂ© de facile Ă  utiliser et surtout, qui est faite au QuĂ©bec. Cependant, mon expĂ©rience a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs dĂ©cevante. J'ai commencĂ© avec la version d'essai Standard et en partant, j'ai rencontrĂ© un problĂšme pour "me logger" . Le service de support m'a suggĂ©rĂ© de supprimer la version tĂ©lĂ©chargĂ©e et d'utiliser la version "cloud'. Ce que j'ai fait. J'ai commencĂ© la configuration avec l'assistant de configuration, ensuite j'ai dĂ» laisser l'application en suspend (sans la fermer) pour continuer plus tard mais l'application s'est fermĂ©e d'elle-mĂȘme Ă  cause du dĂ©lai d'inactivitĂ©. Lorsque j'ai voulu reprendre avec l'assistant de configuration, il n'Ă©tait plus disponible, le systĂšme ayant considĂ©rĂ© que j'avais terminĂ©. Faire ensuite la configuration sans l'assistant configuration devient trĂšs pĂ©nible. Voici quelques unes des difficultĂ©s rencontrĂ©es: - Plusieurs informations recherchĂ©es ne se trouvent pas dans l'aide. L'aide nous rĂ©fĂšre parfois Ă  une autre section sans inclure le lien pour s'y rendre rapidement. (mais parfois le lien y est, c'est alĂ©atoire) - L'outil de recherche (la loupe) qu'on trouve sur toutes les applications ou sites web n'est pas offerte pour nous permettre de naviguer dans l'aide. Seule l'aide contextuelle est offerte, ce qui nous oblige Ă  se retaper la lecture de pages dĂ©jĂ  lues qui ne rĂ©pondent pas Ă  toutes les questions ou situations. De plus, l'aide se trouve parfois sur YouTube, parfois dans l'aide. - Un autre problĂšme est que l'Ă©cran "gĂšle" parfois au moment d'enregistrer un nouveau poste ou sous-poste budgĂ©taire sur la version Cloud. - Je n'ai jamais trouvĂ© comment inscrire un revenu ou une dĂ©pense payĂ©e comptant. - J'ai l'impression que si tout n'a pas Ă©tĂ© bien prĂ©vu lors de la configuration de dĂ©part, il est difficile ensuite de corriger. - À cause de cela, j'ai recommencĂ© Ă  3 reprises un nouveau budget Ă  partir de zĂ©ro. Mais voilĂ  qu'au 4e essai, je m'aperçois qu'il n'est pas possible de recommencer du dĂ©but car le systĂšme a gardĂ© certaines infos (comme mon compte de banque principal). Il m'a Ă©tĂ© impossible de recommencer vraiment Ă  zĂ©ro. - J'ai communiquĂ© avec le support Ă  plusieurs reprises. J'ai eu des rĂ©ponses Ă  mes courriels, parfois rapidement, parfois avec prĂšs de 24 h de dĂ©lai. - Parfois, le clavardage indique : "nous sommes en ligne" mais pas de rĂ©ponse. - AprĂšs 4 jours intenses Ă  tenter de rĂ©ussir la configuration, j'ai demandĂ© au service de support de me rappeler mais sans succĂšs. Les nombreux accrocs deviennent frustrant car le travail doit toujours ĂȘtre mis en plan le temps de recevoir des rĂ©ponses qui parfois ne sont pas claires. J'ai donc, Ă  regret, supprimĂ© mon compte. Je pense que Budget-express.com serait gĂ©nial si l'aide Ă©tait beaucoup plus complĂšte et si la majoritĂ© des cas de figures y Ă©taient documentĂ©s. Évidemment, il est impĂ©ratif d'ajouter l'outil recherche afin de nous Ă©viter de "tĂątonner" Ă  la recherche de l'information. Je suis une personne trĂšs confortable pour apprivoiser de nouveaux logiciels et familiĂšre avec les budgets. Je suis donc Ă©tonnĂ©e d'avoir eu tant de difficultĂ©s alors qu'on qualifie ce logiciel de trĂšs convivial. Enfin, je crois que Budget-express est une petite entreprise et qu'il n'y a qu'une seule personne au service de support. Je suggĂšre donc vivement que soit crĂ©Ă© un blog d'utilisateurs qui pourraient participer Ă  offrir le support aux autres utilisateurs, comme cela se fait beaucoup ailleurs.
I am writing this long comment because I looked for user reviews and did not find any before using this software. I had a lot of hope with this software which has a beautiful presentation, which is often cited as a good resource, which is described as easy to use and above all, which is made in Quebec. However, my experience has been very disappointing. I started with the Standard trial version and on leaving I encountered a problem with "logging in". The support service suggested that I delete the downloaded version and use the cloud version, which I did. I started the configuration with the configuration wizard, then I had to leave the application suspended (without closing it) to continue later but the application closed by itself because of the delay of inactivity. When I wanted to resume with the configuration wizard, it was no longer available, the system having considered that I had finished. Then doing the configuration without the configuration wizard becomes very painful. Here are some of the difficulties encountered: - Several information sought are not found in the help. The help sometimes refers us to another section without including the link to get there quickly. (but sometimes the link is there, it's random) - The search tool (magnifying glass) found on all applications or websites is not available to allow us to navigate the help. Only the contextual help is offered, which obliges us to retype the reading of already read pages which do not answer all the questions or situations. In addition, help is sometimes found on YouTube, sometimes in Help. - Another problem is that the screen sometimes "freezes" when saving a new budget item or sub-item on the Cloud version. - I never figured out how to record income or expense paid in cash. - I have the impression that if everything was not well planned during the initial configuration, it is then difficult to correct. - Because of this, I started a new budget 3 times from scratch. But now that on the 4th try, I realize that it is not possible to start over from the beginning because the system has kept certain information (like my main bank account). It was impossible for me to start from scratch. - I have contacted support several times. I had responses to my emails, sometimes quickly, sometimes with almost 24 hours delay. - Sometimes the chat says: "we are online" but no response. - After 4 intense days trying to successfully configure, I asked the support service to call me back but without success. The many snags become frustrating because the work must always be planned until you receive answers that are sometimes unclear. So I regretfully deleted my account. I think Budget-express.com would be great if the help was much more complete and if the majority of cases were documented there. Obviously, it is imperative to add the search tool in order to avoid us to "fumble" in search of information. I am a very comfortable person to learn new software and familiar with budgets. I am therefore surprised to have had so many difficulties when we describe this software as very user-friendly. Finally, I believe that Budget-express is a small business and that there is only one support person. I therefore strongly suggest that a blog be created for users who could participate in offering support to other users, as is done a lot elsewhere.
