★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience! Very cozy ambiance, amazing memorabilia all over the dining room. A story behind each picture.
The steaks and side dishes are fantastic. But personally I spent most of my time at the salad bar. Three full plates! Barely leaving any room for my perfectly cooked steak. You don't have to be a foody to enjoy the best steaks in Alberta!
So happy I was able to check this off my bucket list.
The owners are thoroughly versed in local history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the steak buffet. Service was extremely friendly. The waitress made the effort to remember our names.The decor was very interesting , humorous and nostalgic. The place was clean and lent a down home atmosphere.The buffet included several salads ,baked beans, mushrooms, onions, potatoes and other steak fixings. There were desserts such as cake and cookies with the buffet. They were able to Chicago style my med-rare steak. Everyone left extra full. They let us take home the steak that we couldn't eat.We'll definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic steak! Was well worth the drive. The Birthday surprise for my wife was also enjoyed. The staff were extremely friendly and there was a great attention to the freshness of the food. The endless shrimp was a nice surprise too. Will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost 10-years have passed, since we first heard of the Bruce Hotel. This afternoon, our group of 6-seniors finally experienced this unique restaurant. It felt very relaxed from the moment we walked in. The energy ramped up immediately, once Kerri came to wait on our table. She is like a seasoned stand-up comedian, with a steady flow of funny lines. We were laughing until tears ran down our cheeks. Our surprise-birthday-party turned into a highly entertaining celebration.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, reflecting the character of the surrounding rural community. Its NOT a fancy restaurant. But it abounds with lots of salad choices, a great meal on disposable plates, and many dessert options. All rolled into a single price.
Kudos for their outstanding Covid-19 protocol, requiring sanitizing before and after each trip to the buffet tables.
A great drive from Edmonton, and a celebration for our friend's birthday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say. The Bruce Hotel lived up to the hype. Steak was perfection, service was great. All the staff are awesome. Very cool restaurant thats different from the all the usual cookie cutter places. Worth the drive from where ever you are coming from! 10/10. We will be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made the drive out to the Bruce Hotel for their famous steak night. So glad we picked the special shrimp and sausage night. Our steaks were perfect, the food was fantastic and the service amazing. We already can't wait to go back!
