No wifi on most phones. Nice place, but just be aware that their wifi internet does not work on most phones. Even though I told them I was coming in mostly to use the internet while ordering a drink and some food, they only told me after I ordered that their internet only works on iphones only, and not all of them.

Cool place at the end of the world. Didn’t expect it. Perfect if you want a great place to hang out for a brew and great food. Fish and chips were fantastic. Salad too. Oh and don’t forget the island favorite β€œHey Y’ All” electric iced tea. It would be perfect on a hot summer day.

We are in town from Texas and arrived at 3:45 pm - well ahead of their 5 pm closing time. They asked us how many for dinner, but then came back and sis their equipment wasn’t working, so they weren’t taking any more diners. This was likely true, but then they proceeded to seat people who they already knew (locals) who were waiting in line behind us. They were not gracious or welcoming or apologetic. Do not go here.

My husband and I went to Bridgeman’s in Port Renfrew June 2021 for the first time and our take out meals were absolutely delicious. We made the trip out there today September 2021 specifically to have a delicious lunch (take out again). We ordered the exact same meals as we did just three months prior. I waited 40 minutes to place my order… yes it was annoying but I could see they were busy and likely short staffed. Waited about 15-20 minutes for our food (completely reasonable as it’s freshly made), got back to the car so we could eat and I see my chicken burger is missing the bacon so I wrap it back up and head in to request a side of bacon so I can throw it on there. The β€œchef” Justin was visibly annoyed right away. The waitress hands him my to go box and he proceeds to cook the bacon… if you can even call it that. Few minutes later he throws it on my burger and put my box on the counter. I go back to the car to find 2 pieces of completely raw bacon. I tossed the bacon off the burger and tried to salvage as much of the burger as I could. It was disgusting. There is no way I should have ever paid $19.25 for that garbage. My husband had the Bridgeworker burger and it was good. It was clear the β€œchef” Justin was just trying to make a point because I came back to request the bacon. Super super disappointing lunch and will not be recommending Bridgeman’s anymore.

Really great spot. Came for lunch and had the Glory Bowl and cannot stop thinking about it!!! Server and chef were so nice, beautiful setting and great food. When we mentioned we were from out of town, the chef even gave us some tips on how to make the sauce but I’m sure we will not do it justice!

What a find! Amazing food in a scenic location with fantastic service. Our server was also the hostess, bartender and chef since she was the only one there, and she still managed to do it all with a smile and minimal wait! Only outdoor seating was available and a minimal menu, so we shared our table with another lovely couple from Alberta. The smoked salmon board and charcuterie board were incredible. Such a great lunch!

Stopped by with my son on a motorcycle ride across the island. We needed to rest and this place is the perfect location to relax for a bit. While the fare may come from a food truck it is served with a smile and our server and hostess were stellar. We watched the fish being unloaded and measured from various boats which just added to the charm of the solid beam ledge we sat at by the windows. We had fish tacos which were fine and as expected. The fries were perfect. The calamari has also fine and just as you would expect from frozen but fried well. The chowder portion was on the small side but flavour was great. We could not enjoy a local beer but instead had a couple of ice coffees and they even had oat milk for it. Just lucky today. All told this is great value for the location and service. 65$ with tax and tip. Thanks! If we ride through again we will stop here for sure.

This was 1 of the 2 places recommended by the host at Heras Cove where we stayed at. We had lunch here on Sunday since they are closed Monday and Tuesday. Staff was really friendly and we had no issues with our food as it all tasted good. Previous reviews was not a factor in our decision as it may have affected our choice if we had actually looked. Didn’t realize the extreme between the stars but our experience was on the positive so we either came on a good day or things changed for the positive. Thanks for the good food and service!
