Brewing Company

Our founder Michael Lanigan started Brewsters in 1989, way before small-batch brewing was the trend it is today. Now, as a second-generation family business, our batches aren’t as small as they once were. But the idea that got us started is the idea that still drives us today. It’s a pretty simple formula, really – combine beer that’s brewed with passion with an outstanding dining experience. That formula has led us to where we are today – one of Alberta’s longest-standing local breweries, with 9 restaurants across the province.

T	TALKCalgary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately some of the staff developed quite the attitude during the recent government restrictions which they're finding hard to lose. It was bad enough being asked for my medical info and I'd during the pandemic, but now that's over being asked for proof of age is just ridiculous ESPECIALLY SINCE I'M 47 years old! Bottom line? Most of the staff here are amazing, unfortunately the few officious and nasty ones let the entire place down. Bottom line? Don't think we will be going back anytime soon.

C	Camila Vallejo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually I don’t write reviews but recently one night, I went to Brewsters Lake Bonavista with my buddies and our waitress ( I think her name Maddie Keith) was super unprofessional and overall a terrible waiter. Not only did she mess up our order twice, but she also had such an unprofessional attitude towards me and my friends. Her remarks were uncalled for and it really made the environment negative and not fun to be in. I’d hope that the rest of the staff isn’t like this as this waitress definitely made your company lose a few customers. I hope the manager or company teaches the staff how to better treat their customers. We come here all the time and this is the first time we’ve ever had an experience with one of the staff members. Not sure if me or my friends will ever go back. Severely disappointed.

Yes I know that prices have gone up but 18 dollars for 6 over breaded little chicken fingers is a bit much. The fries that came with it were so salty they couldn't be eaten. Also can of root beer now costs 5 dollars. Won't be going back.

R	RJ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried brunch here on Sunday. Gotta love the mimosas. Sure it's $12 but at least you get the bottle. Most places charge $4-6+ a glass and its never consistent content wise. Anyways brunch menu is nothing to jump up and down about. Really no options for non meat eaters unless you ask for items to not be included (which Im used to having to do). Tried the eggs benedict with no bacon. I didn't see an option to sub in avacado but our server asked if I wanted to... Absolutely! I would never have thought to do it on a croissant either but wow .. yum! I will definitely be back for that. Oh and LOVE the tator tots.. And our server was fantastic. She was very friendly and offered suggestions too. It was a great experience.

The Korean fried chicken was juicy and tender - highly recommended. The girls that served us were outstanding! I wish I caught their names. They recommend drinks - the house drinks were incredible and can’t wait to come back. I had the Brevy Saskatoon berry vodka soda - 100 calories of pure bliss - great time - thank you for a great evening ❤️
