Brentlawn Towers

I really enjoyed living at Brentlawn Towers. Great location and very well kept building. I always felt very safe in this building. The underground parking is spotless and well lit. Any concerns I had were quickly resolved. Joe and Konnie were a pleasure to deal with. What I loved most about my unit was the floor to ceiling windows, made for a very bright unit.

I decided to write this review just in case someone benefits from it. Over the years I have lived in a number of buildings in the lower mainland and whereas some were comfortable/pleasant, at least two I came to regret very shortly after moving in. One was almost unbearable to live in. In hind sight I wish I had read some reviews before hand. Perhaps this review will assist someone make the right choice when looking for a comfortable apartment. Whereas I avoid writing negative reviews, positive reviews can be just as helpful. The building in which I presently live (Brentlawn Towers, located in Burnaby) is managed by Austeville Properties. I have been in this building for more than 6 years now and I have to say that the management does a really good job of maintaining it. Although I am sure running the day-to-day matters of a large building present challenges, the place is always clean and things are fixed pretty quickly. Furthermore, the in-building management fosters a very comfortable atmosphere with their courteous and friendly professional attitude - they are much more like neighbors than management. I imagine Austeville manages its other building equally professionally. As indicated at the top of this review, I write this review just in case it helps anyone else when they make a choice for their future residence. I know that I could certainly have benefited from reading reviews about a building I lived in a few years ago. Before ending this brief review I have to acknowledge the friendly professionalism of the in building management at this Burnaby apartment, specifically, Joe and Konnie (and others) - as I said earlier, although always professional, they are also always friendly and neighbourly. This is the BEST apartment!!! It’s spacious and bright. It’s much more affordable than other apartments in this area. I loved it! And the building managers Joe and Konnie have done an amazing job in maintaining this building. To be honest, this is the cleanest building in Metro Vancouver. Look at the building envelope! Other so-called expensive and luxury buildings are covered with moss. But this building envelope is so fresh and clean without even a single trace of moss. And more importantly, Joe and Konnie are so nice, kind, professional, and responsible with great communication skills! A few more details which can help you learn more about this place. 1. It has a nicely maintained swimming pool!!! The water is clean and blue. Beautiful! 2. Why does this building look so new and fresh? Because Joe and Konnie are doing a lot to maintain it. For example, they would brush the balcony in a regular schedule. 3. In my previous rentals, you have to ask for a leave in order to do the annual fire alarm check. But here, Joe and Konnie can help take care of it. 4. Their envelope is already very well-maintained. The inside of the unit is even better. The unit I inhabited was newly renovated. And they used high-quality materials and electric appliance. I will continue to add more details in the future.

As a long time tenant, I can say Brentlawn Towers is a great place to live. The management team, led by Joe and Konnie, are professional, helpful, and address any concerns quickly and efficiently. They are awesome!

My first home in Canada. It has great scenic view during winter and summer no matter which tower you are in. Love the long wide balcony. It has amazing management AKA Joe. He is active and prompt in helping out when in need or have a concern or something needs fixing. It was cozy place to live in and also good neighborhood. There park right next block also day care and schools are 3-4 blocks away with SkyTrain and bus stops nearby. I would recommend.

We lived there for 6yrs and its was the first home my little kids had ever known. The building I hear is old possibly from the '70s. My coworker actually lived there in the '80s. But don't be fooled, it might be old but this is one of the best buildings I've been in. I have seen other 30-40yrs old buildings and those don't compare to Brentlawn towers. The place is very well maintained. Our unit is a 2 bedroom and there are lots of space. One great thing about the building is its concrete built!!! So its like we have our own private space there because we don't hear our neighbors and a family with kids thats a huge bonus. Building managers Joe and Konnie are just amazing people. They act fast to resolve problems within the unit and tries to help as best they can. Our experience there at Brentlawn towers has been amazing. Yes, I definitely would recommend this place.

Great Place to rent in Burnaby ! I lived with my family in Brentlawn towers for almost 4 years and we thoroughly enjoyed living there. Joe, the building manager, was friendly and helpful with any issues in the suite. We moved in when our daughter was 6 months old. It was a great place for her to grow with kids park nearby, a quiet place for evening walks and access to daycares. I continue to recommend this place to friends who need to rent in the area. My wife and I lived very happily at Brentlawn Towers for over 7 years. Of all the places I’ve rented Brentlawn is by far the best. This is in no small part due to the wonderful resident managers, Joe and Konnie. The managers are friendly and professional, and made sure to deal with any issues promptly. Actually, we never had many problems or issues as the buildings are maintained to a very high standard. The location is great, close to Sky Train and shopping. The walls between apartments are concrete, so the building is quiet. The hallways, garage and other common areas are kept clean and well lit. We only moved out in order to relocate and take care of an ailing relative, we would happily rent at Brentlawn Towers again if we were to return to Burnaby.
