Just want to thank Brent Jansen for fast, professional service. I had to call them after after another company failed to fix a drain clog. This other company charged an exorbitant amount and our sewers backed up again only 2 hours after they left. Peter from Brent Jansen was great to deal with, knew his stuff, and brought the right tools for getting rid of roots in our drain. He dealt with the problem quickly and explained everything he was doing, showing us the camera footage and the roots once he extracted them. He was pretty great under pressure, with many emergency calls coming in. Great experience with this company.

Great service, fast response, highly recommend! Called Brent Jansen Plumbing and Heating Sunday morning at 900am and had a technician out to my house in a little over an hour. Austin was great to deal with, fixed the leak in the wall quickly and gave me great advice too. Very thankful they were so easy to deal with and the price was a little less than I expected too. Will definitely use them again.

Excellent! Lindsey in the Office was quick and helpful in emailing back and forth to ensure the model to be repaired was correctly identified and Joe came to do the work. He was friendly, careful and efficient. The job was well done all round.

Hidden fees Before the tech came to my house, on Jan 25, 2022 I called to ask about fees because I couldn't find this information on their website. When I called I was told about the hourly rate and nothing else. I asked if they had information about their fees online and they confirmed they didn’t. On Feb 8, the tech came to my house and left after less than 55 min of trying to determine the problem that was not active at the moment. I got an invoice for 1.5 hours of labour plus Fuel surcharge and other consumables. I called asking for them to remove the additional half-hour and send me a corrected invoice. I also asked if they had the information about how they determine the chargeable time and the fuel surcharge on their website and was told they don't have this information. Then they sent me an email explaining that the time started running from the moment the tech left their office, so based on this they said the 1.5 hours was correct. They also said they were going to cancel the Fuel surcharge. I sent another email and said thank you for the cancellation of the Fuel surcharge, which was a hidden fee in the first place, and also insisted in the cancellation of the additional time that was also a hidden fee, because when I called this information was never mentioned to me. They sent me another invoice with the cancellation of the additional time, but the Fuel surcharge was included again. I sent another email and said that I would not pay any hidden fees, however, then I decided to pay this last invoice and to give my review in case my bad experience can help other customers to make an informed decision. Summarizing, I don’t think any company should be charging any hidden fees because this is clearly unethical and a bad business practice. On their website the business asks for 5 stars if we are happy with their service, or to contact them if we think they can improve. I contacted them and did my best for them to understand why I was unhappy and unfortunately they didn’t value this. Future customers should get full information about all the fees included in their services so they can make an informed decision. I give this company 3 stars instead of 1 because the tech who came to my house, though he couldn’t determine the issue causing the leaking problem because the problem wasn’t active, was respectful and professional; and because I want to support local businesses and hope, if they haven’t done it yet, that this company will decide to include all the hidden information about fees on their website sooner than later for the benefit of other customers.

I can't heap enough praise on Brent Jansen Plumbing, especially the plumber Joe, who came to my house to assess and fix my blocked sewage pipe. Joe was very clear about overtime rates (my plumbing emergency happened on a Sunday night) and worked diligently for several hours to clear the pipe. When that proved to be unsuccessful, he returned on Tuesday morning to complete the job. Joe was professional, sympathetic to our predicament, very determined to fix the problem and articulate in explaining his strategies. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and is an excellent representative of the company. I also appreciate the office staff who shuffled their other bookings (twice) to prioritize my home's "no toilet" situation. Thank you- you have earned my repeat business.

Martin came by and fixed our toilet issue in just over an hour! He was punctual, friendly, covid safe, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my extra questions, gave me some advice for how to care for our plumbing better, and left his workspace clean and tidy! Thanks for such excellent work! :)

Excellent service. On the day we called to have a plumbing leak fixed, Cheryl put us on an emergency wait list for 3 days. Fortunately, that same day we received a call mid afternoon that Joe and Sandro had finished their scheduled jobs early and would be coming over. They were a great team, very professional and pleasant guys. They spent a couple hours fixing the problem, likely going beyond regular working hours. Joe was especially good at explaining the process as they went along and answering questions. Many thanks to the Brent Jansen organization.
