On Friday, July 10th, 2020 in +43 degree high humidity weather, the team from Boyd’s Moving arrived at our home on time with friendly smiles on their faces, eager to get to work. From the time they arrived at our former home to the time they left our new home, they were extremely professional, accommodating, polite and courteous. Each team member went above and beyond to make our moving experience as stress free and pleasant as possible. We were completely impressed by their eagerness to work hard, despite the sweltering hot weather. It is clear that they take pride in their work. They are experts at what they do! They make a very physically demanding job look easy. We were in awe! We want to personally thank Brandon, Richard and Brock for making our moving day experience very pleasant and worry-free. Boyd did our office move a few days ago and they were amazing. Very professional and efficient. We did our own packing but they disassembled and reassemble the office furniture without a hitch. The crew worked really well together. I would highly recommend them.

We recently moved out of our family home, where we lived for over thirty years. Needless to say this move consisted of a lot of furniture and valuable items. There were five bedrooms worth of furniture to be packed, many common areas, all of our patio furniture, and countless other decorative items. These were more than enough items to fill a large truck two times. There were four movers assigned to our move. They worked tirelessly and efficiently from 9 am until well after midnight, on a cool fall day. The movers were kind, helpful, resourceful, resilient, and extremely pleasant to work with. Led by their powerhouse leader, Eric. They ALL went above and beyond to ensure that our experience went as smooth as possible. Despite running into some conflicts with regards to specific items to move, they adapted to each issue presented to them and were always able to work out a solution that would benefit us. An excellent example of this was when they had to figure out how to disassemble a large outdoor umbrella in the dark in -2 weather, and once they did after it was transported they put it BACK together in the cold, even though it was after midnight. Incredible. They worked over 16 hours on our moving day with minimal breaks and were in such high spirits the entire day! Our family would highly recommend Boyd Moving for anyone looking to move in the future.

May 2021 - in city move by Boyd Moving & Storage. Well the move has taken place and I just wanted to add a comment to my previous post. Boyd and their employees did an absolutely fabulous job. They were on time. They were polite. They had the necessary extra boxes for transportation of clothes, TV & Stereo, and beds, etc. The crew put down runners over the carpeting to protect it from all the in/out traffic. They did the packing of the large items we had not packed and got it all loaded on the truck in about 3 hours. Good time was made between the old and new locations and they unloaded everything and put the bed and TV stand back together and were gone in about 2 1/2 hours (it is amazing what not having to do stairs makes in the time needed to do a job!.) All in all, I cannot say enough good about the job Boyd. You would not go wrong to select this company for your moving needs. ____________________________________________________________________ My brother was planning on selling his house and moving to an apartment. There are so many things to consider and we needed information on packing, moving and possibly storage. We dealt with Kelly Sullivan at Boyd Moving and Storage and she did an absolutely super job of explaining the ins and outs of what we should be doing, what costs we could expect and how they could help us. The initial move date has had to be changed so apart from that very essential information we have not yet actually used Boyd. However, we will definitely be doing so when the move actually takes place next spring.

Just moved from Ottawa to Brockville. I chose Boyd Moving & Storage because of the quick initial response, the friendly & profession assistants from my moving agent. She talked me thru everything. When the big day came, I was stressed out & ready to get it done & over with (like most other people I imagine). The crew came on time, & they got right down to business. They were quick & efficient & made me giggle more than once, totally putting me at ease. There were a few bumps in the road (unforeseen challenges) but thru it all they were still professional, fast & efficient. And their humour never wavered. All in all, they got it done in 8 hours! So thanks to Kelly & the boys for making this move as pleasant & easy as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone & if I ever have a need again … I know who to call! Cheers Cindy

From start to finish, my experience at Boyd's Moving and Storage was A+! I was able to get an evaluation of the cost ahead of time just through a Zoom call. The team quickly put together an inventory list and set-up a moving date. The move was estimated to take about 6.5 hours, but the team finished everything in less than 3 hours! They were quick, but also but professional and cautious to not damage the furniture or home. The movers were very polite and they had a great sense of humour. I highly recommend Boyd's for your moving solution! Thanks for the great experience!
