We have explicitely told Direct Transportation FOUR (4) times that we do not require their services; we drive our son to school ourselves. I received another call tonight, advising me that a driver was coming. What a farce; if this wasn't negatively affecting a likely innocent driver and myself, I'd laugh. If you can avoid using them, I would; unfortunately, Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has chosed to work with them exclusively it seems.
F	Fraoch Shepherd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely horrific people. The driver I encounter every day parks the van directly over the sidewalk forcing people to walk around on a very traffic heavy road. I have repeatedly asked him to move into the REALLY spacious driveway but he pretends not to understand. He did however manage to start speaking once I took photos of him, the licence plate and the fairly empty driveway. DANGEROUS. I'd give zero stars, not one star.

Processed 1 child very easily into the system but, didn't process the other child and both transportation papers were in AT THE SAME TIME but, also got a call for the 2nd child's driver today...They must have bad communication issues between dispatch and drivers.
K	Krissy Kaz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my own experience with one of the drivers. Completely blocked my into a parking space on Christmas eve while he was doing groceries. So, sandwiched between 2 cars, I had to wait for this man to leave the store so I could get out. But it was no problem. Its Christmas eve and I have no where else to be, right? When I told him to move his car he stood there and stared at my vehicle blankly like he didnt understand. If this is the demographic you are hiring, I know some potatoes who will work for free.
O	Ogonna Rose on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was never told that I needed to provide booster seat for my five years old son. I was informed 5 days early by the direct transport office that my son's transportation had been scheduled finally starting on September 11 and that the driver would call me. He never called until the morning of September 11 when he called to ask for directions to our location. He arrived 15 minutes late and was yelling " booster seat". I don't have a car so how would I have a booster seat on short notice. If I was told earlier I would have had that ready. I decided to withdraw my son from school entirely. He is on the Autism spectrum and he has been treated like he is less of a human being. He is my baby, my only son. I will treat him like he is my God, thank you very much. I've just had enough
M	Monsieur Whiggles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My driver doesn't show up for three days and when I call to complain the person on the phone says the driver was there and it's my word against the driver. Worst service ever. BTW Direct Transportation, my phone records all calls.
r	rumaisa shaukat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ZERO stars for the rude ladies who attend calls when drivers dont show up. I had many terrible experiences but the most shocking experience today. Driver was supposed to pick both children at 8:10am and didn't show up at all. I called many times to Direct Transportation first at 8:30am and they kept telling me he will be there shortly. My kids have Autism and waiting for that long made them really anxious and younger one started crying nonstop. When I called for the 4th time the lady said to me "you are yelling at me" I had my three kids with me who can confirm I wasn't yelling, All I asked was is someone coming or not and she said I will hung up on you, I don't know what this tactic means but i said no worries I will hang up and call OSTA which I did. When OSTA contacted them, the lady lied and said I cancelled the ride which I didn't. This is seriously unethical, first she lied accusing me of yelling which I didn't, then she said I cancelled my ride which I didn't, I called OSTA at 9:37am after waiting for an hour and 30 minutes and told the guy I am still waiting and no one showed up. Its unfair and wrong for Direct Transportation to lie and treat parents that way. The lady I talked to didn't tell me her name, when I called they only say "direct transportation", no name was provided. This time I am not going to let Direct Transportation get ahead without taking responsibility for their actions. I will be reporting this to the school board and the Ministry.
J	Jason Nurnberg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible drivers, nearly took off my front end when I was driving straight, and he was pulling out of a condo complex. When I confronted the driver he said he didn't even see me. If you see these drivers be cautious as they do not care.
