★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful, and clean place to hang out, walk, or ride your bike. Lots of wildlife such as deer, unique birds, and turtles. I definitely reccomend spending some time here if you are in kelowna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kelowna’s most popular beach. Has a playground with a water and dry zip line, volleyball courts, a grassy area, and concession stand. The water is very shallow up to around half a kilometre out, so it is typically a bit warmer than the rest of the lake. There are also canoe rentals toward the south end of the beach. Be warned: during peak times, this place is absolutely jam packed. You will not be able to find parking unless you come very early. Across the street there are some restaurants and an ice cream place. Within a 5-10 minute walk, there is every chain fast-food place, two liquor stores, and a save-on-foods. You can easily spend all day here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The zipline is a HUGE hit with the kids! The picnic tables are perfect for parents to sit and watch the kids and to have a family picnic... the beach volleyball sandboxes are huge and the grass is perfectly well kept to play ball and Frisbee etc. It was really good that the water-fountain was operational (we were there second weekend of May), unfortunately the bathrooms were locked. Loved the giant apple (confectionery), it stands out and is a great muster point to tell kids to meet up at if they get lost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family beach! There are areas that provide shade and plenty of beach space. Public washrooms, food shack, and rental shop for paddle boards, kyacks, paddle boats and more, all at reasonable prices. Beach volleyball court, fun playground with zip line into the water for kids. The beach is clean and shallow for quite a ways out. Highly recommend for a great day at the beach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a busy place in the summer, mostly filled with teens and young adults, it can occasionally get a bit noisy with competing boom boxes, but the trade off is lots of parking and fairly shallow water that goes way way out before a steep drop off, which is nice if you have smaller children. There are also nice new washrooms and outdoor showers, a concession stand (the big red apple), ping pong tables, and beach volleyball courts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun beach, grassy area, shallow sandy area. Had a wonderful time would love to come back some day. Plenty of shade options, keep your eyes open for quick bikes, scooters, skaters etc

Lovely clean sand. Clean and well kept all round.
Kids playground is great, with two zip lines; one over the sand and one that goes into the lake.
Clean and modern bathrooms and amble parking.
