Michael and his company catered our wedding in September. Initially it was suppose to be a buffet styled dinner, but with COVID, we changed it to a plated dinner. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff and service was fantastic. He was professional and responded promptly to any issues or concerns we had. If you’re looking for a caterer, I highly recommend you go with Michael and his team!

Michael was a pleasure to work with! We had our wedding at Bill Warren Training Center. We had plenty of guests say how incredible the food was! He was very good at finding menu items that suited our preferences, as well as our guests dietary needs. His staff were friendly and efficient. We hired BVG for our wedding and Mike (and his team) did an amazing job! He was super flexible with dietary restrictions, and made us both (the bride and groom) feel very accommodated and honoured. We hired Bow Valley Gourmet to cater our wedding in Canmore in October 2020. It was a pleasure working with Michael through the entire planning process. As 2020 progressed, Covid restrictions and thus the number of guests that we could have at our reception changed several times. Our initial plan was for ~130 people, and in the end we had only ~40 guests at the reception. Michael took everything in stride and was focused on ensuring we got the exact meal we wanted, regardless of the number of guests. He had a robust plan in place to manage Covid risk. He arranged a tasting for us in Canmore several months prior to the wedding that helped us finalize our menu. He accommodated our dietary restrictions without issue, tweaking some dishes and suggesting alternatives for others. The day prior to the wedding, Michael met with us to go over all the details and a last minute request we had for his serving staff. Through it all, Michael was professional and courteous. At the wedding reception, Michael and his staff did an excellent job. The meal service was delivered exactly as planned and the servicing staff was warm and professional with our guests. All Covid precautions were followed which helped our guests feel comfortable. But the highlight was the food! Rich and complementary flavours with each dish! So many of our guests commented to us that night and in the days after how delicious the meal was. We could not have asked for anything more! We highly recommend working with Michael and Bow Valley Gourmet. Thank you Michael for giving us a wedding meal that we will always remember!

We had a wonderful experience working with Bow Valley Gourmet and Chef Michael to arrange a private dinner for our group in Banff. Chef Michael provided a range of options at the onset and was very accommodating to our needs. He helped guide us towards menu options that suited our large group. The dishes were beautiful and delicious and personnel professional and courteous! Highly recommend!

We recently hired Mike & his team for our wedding February 22, 2022 and we cannot say enough great things. From start to finish Mike was amazing to work with, communicative, easy going, helpful to answer any questions and his food was top notch. We worked with Mike to get the menu we desired and every single guest we’ve chatted with has raved about the food. We received a complimentary tasting prior and knew 100% what we were getting. The day of he did not need anything from us and his staff were unreal. The food was served exactly on time, the plates were cleared silently (and in a timely manner), and they truly made our wedding dinner perfect. Thanks so much to Mike & staff, we wish we could relive the day over & over again because of how amazing it was.

Just completed our wedding reception with the amazing help of Michael Anderson and his crew. Best in the Valley. Food was insanely good, quality of food at the buffet was consistent and they accommodated for all of our guests with allergies and other dietary concerns. Chef Anderson was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Some of our favourite dishes were the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Prime Rib.
