I like this Campground because of the proximity to the city and to Canmore. I like how our site was close to the Bow River and the campsites were well spaced out. If your site is closer to the highway you will hear the highway noise throughout the day but quiets down throughout the evening. I found that the campground managers were rude when delivering their messages to the campers. I also talked to other campers and they felt the camp managers also lacked a sense of awareness and were not pleasant to deal with. Apart from that I would go back.

At the campground as I write this. Great spot, close enough to Canmore to bike in on the amazing pathways along the Three Sisters parkway! Only giving it 4 stars because of the horrible water pressure in the far left shower. AVOID this one at all cost. The water is barely a trickle and when I complained about paying $3.00 for five minutes for an exercise in futility, was told it’s a water saving measure. I recommended they post a warning on the door. They haven’t done that!!! My husband used the second shower from the left, and that one has a hand wand with much better pressure. He is also bald, and I have extremely thick, curly hair, so there’s that.

Very nice camping with large, fairly level sites and lots with hydro and water. Very friendly, helpful and hospitable staff (park rangers). Closer to the trans-Canada highway than I imagined so there's traffic noise to endure. But we've had worse with the train noise in Yoho and horrific train noise in Juniper Beach. Will try Bow Valley PP next time.

Nice campground but the omnipresent TransCanada highway din spoils the natural ambience. Not sure why the campground was not built another 500 meters East along the lovely Bow River. And it's just stunning that firewood is not freely available. Camping fees are surely high enough to cover that cost. Frankly, it incites campers to harvest local forest resources for fuel. Not good.

A nice campground in the mountains with electricity, water hook ups and bathrooms. With it being next to the highway, it is noisy. We didn't mind it at first, but it got annoying after a few days. I don't reccomend the campground if you like quietness unless you are there to just sleep. Less noise if you are camping next to the river, which we weren't. Only a 10 min drive to Canmore.

Campground is well managed and maintained. The sites are very true to size and not "generous" like some, so be sure to check your unit length. Main road is paved and a great size loop for elementary age bikers to explore without getting lost. Campground is right on the river and easy to access. Water was high when we were there so there were no rocks to throw. Sani station is included, you just have to pop over to the bow valley campground where there are 5 spots you can choose from. Biggest negative was the road noise due to proximity, but that is out of their control. It also provided white noise so we never heard a peep from neighbors.

Great little campsite! Our lot was right on the Bow River, which was absolutely lovely to be able to wade into while it was hot. The highway is right next to the campsite, but I personally liked it as it provided white noise, and kept us from really hearing any other campers.

Love this place. Great service. The new staff is very nice and they maintain the campground impeccable. Many places to visit once you are here. For swimming there are a few places nearby. Also grocery and many local shops in Canmore are just five minutes driving. In general is a very nice campground. The sound of the highway can be annoying during the day gets better at night. Great time visiting this place.
