This is a great service. As we move into the future of tourism having been forever changed this century by 9/11 and Covid-19 here is a bright spot and shows us that there is no going back to the way it was but we do get to go forward into something even better. Who wants a dirty old locker in a train station or or metropolitan commuter hub? You need local coins to operate those things and often too many to get easily from a nearby merchant who is beyond over being asked for change. "Welcome to Cleveland. We don't give change." After getting the right coins and leaving your luggage in an unattended gross metal box in a bad part of town (bus station) or out of town (airport) all that you get is an inconveniently shaped orange key that's easy to lose and no guarantee against loss or damage. Those where the good old days, right? Ugh. Good riddance! Bounce can be anywhere at any time and comes standard with a substantial insurance policy and easy pricing all through their app. Did I need some faith at first when I saw the late night clerk at a 24 hour convenience store whisk my bags into the back of his store with no receipt? Um, yes. Did I follow advise that said "TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR BAG(S)!" Yes I did. Did I have any issue even one time retrieving my bags having no paper receipt? No. Just my bounce reservation on my phone and a picture of my bag that I've taken when dropping it off. Even with a lost phone the picture is in a cloud and my Bounce account can be accessed from my other devices. I can extend the time I'm leaving my bag checked from the Bounce app without having to return to the location All that and $10,000 insurance included in one simple price. Some of my most memorable interactions with strangers lately have been with people working at places that have signed on as merchants with Bounce. Great connections easily made and no exchange of money as Bounce has all that part done for us. There are good days ahead and new ways to embrace a bright future right now. This is one little way I have found that exemplifies the possibilities. I highly recommend this service.
