★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to fill up food, bread and dessert supplies for the week and you can’t beat the lovely amount of choices, friendly staff and homemade quality. I still get how people buy microwave dinners when you get more for less!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place never let's you down. It is excellent by Greek standards, but it is more than a bakery and serves more than Greek food. They have hot single-serving Greek entrees (pastitio and moussaka) as well as stuff like lasagna, freshmade meatballs, empanadas, Italian-style strip pizza, and EXCELLENT pastries (Greek and North American), and all very reasonably priced! You can order the non-pastries on Uber Eats, but I recommend visiting the bakery and seeing the diverse amount of delicious food that they have!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to buy a chocolate croissant and a chicken Jamaican patty. Both were very bland. The croissant was not crispy and the dough reminds me of a cheap pastry from a grocery store. As for the chicken patty, I could not even identify that it was chicken since there was almost no filling and it once again tasted well, tasteless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You know you’ve build your taste buds up for something delicious and it winds up being a disappointment? Well, that pretty much describes my experience at Boulangerie Samos. Firstly, the donuts are huge, which itself is not an issue with a good neutral oil. But when one fries donuts the size Samos serves in a cheap flavoured oil, they taste of oil which lingers long after you’ve finished. Secondly, the beef empanada which taste more like spaghetti Bolognese wrapped in pastry shell. It carries none of the flavours one expects of chili, cumin or paprika… but at least you taste an abundance of tomato.
Here is the thing, the customer service is top notch, but the food is an issue easily rectified. Until then, I would not recommend this bakery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was hard to decide what to try first , I ask the guy working there but he didn’t help at all. He keeps making the same joke, “try one of each” . I guess I’ll end up trying one of each, but not on the same day. The apple strudel was excellent, hot , just out of the oven.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the mushroom and cheese arancini were some of the best arancini I tried. When I warmed them up enough , the inside became melty and gooey and was a dream. Highly recommend! Very impressed with the veggie Jamaican patty too! :)
