I shop here regularly and never had a problem with the staff which was always extra polite or the products which was always fresh. I recommend ! 5 stars.

They have a stall at the Atwater market, The staff was horrible rude and grumpy. Bio or not the meat, was like shoe leather and had this horrible taste. I had to throw it out. I never went back.

I buy approximately a bunch of chicken every week. After going there for a few weeks and spending approximately 100$/week, I place in an order the night before the get some chicken thigh de-boned for the next morning. First, I get there around noon-1pm, the chicken isn't ready. They basically haven't started it (it took the exact same time as when I normally get it without ordering). When I get home to prepare the meat at night, I notice they gave me de-boned drumstick for more than half of my order. I go back the next day to let them know about my disappointment, as Drumstick and Thigh aren't really the same type of meat/quality or piece size. Instead of apologizing or showing any kind of understanding, I'm being told that the drumstick is part of the leg, therefore it is normal that they might have separated it... Really? The problem is, I do not have the other half to match (the upper thigh). I either have that tiny veiny/fascia/nerve piece or a full de-boned thigh. I am told I need to specifically ask for them not to separate it when they de-bone the whole leg. Wow, this is a first. I would have never expected getting a bunch of drumstick with all the tendon and fascia that come with it, so no, it didn't cross my mind that I had to specify. Seems to me that they had to prepare upper thigh for someone and got stuck with a bunch of drumstick and decided to pass them to me. Anyway, all that to say that instead of showing any kind of understanding of my disappointment, or even caring about my complaint, they treated me like I was stupid. I guess my business wasn't worth their appreciation. I'll simply bring it elsewhere.

When I come to buy products at your store I expect that the sales people are totally honest about the freshness, I only expect to have impeccable service and only expect to have fresh meat that arrived same day or else I will return

Great people and passionate owners that promote organic and family farming. Animals butchered here are raised in cruelty-free conditions. Very high quality. They have wild turkey available (though farm-raised) that has an interesting dark purple flesh--worth a try for the foodie adventure seeker.

I'm very disappointed , I bought a tomahawk rib stake I went home I cooked it was very very very tough like rubber , so I didn't want to judge the Boucher i said to myself it happens no big deal but I went back second time I bought a regular rib stake and its also was very tough I couldn't chew on it I threw it away I highly doubt the freshness of the meat I don't think it's fresh I believe its a frozen meat was defrosted. I pay a premium price for this Boucher to get a premium meat and I don't think I'm getting what I want for the money I pay . I'm very disappointed i buy meat on weekly basis from this place and the meat was never like that at this Boucher. I dont not recommend this place unless you want to try it yourself.

Be careful when you buy here, don't assume it's fresh, ask, or at least check the tag after they package the meat. I failed to check and on Jan 26th I bought 500grs of ground beef with "best before" date for the 27th. I cooked two burgers on the 27th (it didn't occur to me that the meat I just bought the day before was now expired). The meat didn't taste great, gave me stomach cramps, and now I'm realizing why, so I'm throwing away half of what I bought, see photo. When the meat is fresh it's actually good, I had been going for the last month or so, but now I'll keep an eye out for freshness if I decide to go back.

I attended the market today with family who were visiting Montreal and decided to try this butchers. The sign outside the shop stated 3 people maximum - so 2 of us entered to be rudely told that only 1 person per family. There was no one else in the que as it was early morning and the sign did not state this. There was no need for the staff to be rude - we left, there is plenty of choice and if they can afford to turn away business they don’t deserve to have any.
