Bosom Babies

Sweet little shop and one of the few brick and mortar places I found in Edmonton where I could walk in and buy a package of Snappis, instead of paying the marked up prices for them on Amazon. Strategic location right in the same building as a number of obstetricians.

i thought i was the only one that experienced racism here but looking at the comments, guess not. the owner kept following me around the store and didn't bother to do the same when a pretty white female walked in. she made me feel so stressed and degraded. not only that but the store was disgusting. there was hair and dust everywhere. i don't know why anybody would want to support this kind of business. motherhood maternity in southcommon actually treated me like a human and not some kind of a dog.

I love this store! I’ve bought lots of well made nursing bras and clothing there. Cheryl offers great customer service and has lots of knowledge about all things nursing and babies. I feel well taken care of when I’m there. It’s close to the Royal Alex hospital, you can find free parking just one block East of the store.

Not the cheapest baby store I've been to, but you get what you pay for, and at Bosom Babies I paid for top-notch service and gladly would do so again. Not only were the staff incredibly helpful with finding me a high quality nursing bra in my completely non-standard size, they also kept my four year old occupied the entire time I was shopping. She asks to go back to "the store where they play with you" all the time! Parking was also surprisingly convenient on a nearby side-street. I also availed myself of their babywearing discount by wearing my newborn in a ring sling!

We brought a product from this store for our program. We are non profit organization providing childcare around the city. We purchased a change table from this store. The table came with no hardware. When I called the store back Cheryl had told me that if she knew no hardware was with the product she agreed she wouldn't have sold me the product. I said great when can I come get my refund? She told me that she had to think about it and would call me the next day. I was confused. She sold me a defected product but had to call me back to think about whether she wanted to refund my money. She wrote me a message back the next day and told me that she was not going to refund my money. She refused to pick up any of our calls and when she did pick up... she told me to throw the change table in the garbage, to defame her business on the internet and whatever else I wanted to do because she was not going to return the money. To be quite clear this is not about the money here, but the principle. We are in the business of dealing with children. Why would you sell a defected product with no hardware? This could be a severe safety concern to the children in our program. I am not writing to defame this business but rather bring awareness to others who may support this business. Save your money and go somewhere else. This woman does not care about the safety of CHILDREN??!? and she owns a child's store. Please do not make any big purchases from this store. Anything that has to deal with any sort of things that require hardware. Very unprofessional, immediately attacked me for calling back and told me that if I showed up she would call security. What an unprofessional ran business. I have submitted a report with the business bureau and hope they stop this business from ripping people off.

Very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful staff! Sara took the time to help me try on several carriers even though my baby was fussing quite a bit. She and the other employee (didn't catch her name but she was very eager and friendly) were able to answer my questions and give me a lot of info. I was able to pick up a couple of other things as well that I'm excited to use with my little one. The only thing I'd change about the place would be access to free parking but that's a building issue not a BB one ?

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this shop. I wanted to return unused, tagged merchandise 2 days after purchasing for a refund and was told they don’t do refunds. This was not communicated with me before purchase nor was there signage in store of the policy. I was told the manager would call me same day to discuss the matter and they never followed up. Very frustrating and poor customer service.

Placed an order online as a congratulatory gift for a colleague, we're all in Calgary, he lives in Edmonton. After placing the order I called the store to ask if they could include a note, not only did they write one up but they wrapped the gift up beautifully and hand delivered it. Excellent service!!
