★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve had blood drawn and stitches put in..I find this hospital to be pretty amazing..I think the city should invest in a better parking lot..I feel sorry for the nurses who show up to their shifts and have to drive around 20 minutes looking for a spot to park. I also know a lot of people (including myself) who drive here from cold lake because the facility and staff are so much better. If you are having a baby..I do not recommend doing it in cold lake. In Bonnyville there are 4 delivering doctors..each of which you get to know throughout your pregnancy..and whoever is working on call when you go into labour delivers your baby! (Not a stranger..and not someone completely overworked who doesn’t get the have a life of their own) all the delivering doctors I’ve met have been absolutely amazing! Keep it up..and I really hope the city invests more money here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are alright when you have things like day proceedures but their Emerg is a joke! Doctors do not listen to patients and just want to perscribe pain kills and get you out the door as quickly as possible. I have had this happen to me (luckly mine wasnt too serious!) and Ive had friends where they perscribe meds that make things worse because they dont want to do proper testing. Most recently have a friend who keept taking her girl in and she had an unditentified infection and they kept giver her pain killers for the pain. My friend finally went to St.Paul because her childs condition was worsening to find that her kidneys were shutting down due to the infection and the meds Bonnyville was giving her was excelerating this! Not cool Bonnyville that is very neglectful on your staffs part.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had day surgery yesterday. (gall bladder removal) Feel great today. Did not need painkillers after being discharged .Attention to protocol and details was 100%, Thanks to all involved in my care. René 1940.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had ruptured appendix, seen 4 doctors which improperly diagnosed me and almost killed me. Was in pain for a Month. They have slow wait times, Was only second person waiting and they let 8 people go ahead of me as they arrived after me. I prefer only going to small Clinics They are much more efficient and Quicker. Waiting 6 hours is nonsense. Even with 3 Doctors working emerge and lots of Nurses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to take a moment to share this huge thankyou to the professional and caring staff that made my life a better one! I turned 65 yesterday and I owe it to these folks!!
On August 31st of 2021, I admitted myself to this facility where we learned that I was having a heart attack. I was immediately transferred to the CCU @ Royal Alexandria Hospital and received more life saving treatment from them as well. I'm eternally grateful for all of the care I received from All of You! Thanking you Sincerely, Ron A. Hamer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst hospital ever! So glad it’s not in the -30s or I would freeze! My husband has surgery and didn’t want to go alone so I went with and they wouldn’t let me wait in the hospital for him to be out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just an absolutely terrible hospital. Just a bunch of paper pushers. No doctors ever. Please don’t go here if your actually sick. Cold lake or vermilion were 1000 times better. Everyone involved in this hospital should be embarrassed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give it zero stars I would. My 6 year old son was ignored as soon as they heard he had a cough. We were put in a room as they pushed many patients in front of my son. Didn’t even bother to come check on him! He’s a child you all should be ashamed of yourselves! I asked for a blanket for him as he was cold because he’s sick and the nurse was rude and acted like we were such an inconvenience. And on top of it they put us in a dirty room that wasn’t cleaned they didn’t even change the sheets on the bed Absolutely terrible hospital. Here is a picture of the floor in the room. Clearly this hospital does not care about there patients
