★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stop here every time we are driving through Renfrew. The sandwiches are made to order on delicious fresh bread and have generously fillings. All the sweet treats I’ve tried have been great but my favourite is the cinnamon doughnuts. My only caveat is the coffee: rather bland, even the Americano.

1st off staff are incredibly friendly.
2nd food is impeccable.
3rd they have neiche spices, sauces, jams and gifts to buy.
I am very happy with this business. I was told it is a gem hidden in the Ottawa region.
I recommend to go out of your way to visit this store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. I mean I really really love it. One of favorite restaurants. We return there every summer as we have a summer place near their location. Sometimes during the winter we drive in from Ottawa. We went today and got their special of California chicken (my favorite) on a croissant with dilly potato salad ( my favorite side) we weren’t surprised that the price went up since the last time we were there. I do t mind paying for good food. Unfortunately I was very upset to see a very thin layer of the California chicken on my croissant ? and how small my cookie is. Ginger cookie amazing try it it’s good. So I’m disappointed not that they raised the prices I’m disappointed that I’m getting less for my money even though I’m paying more. Will I be back? Most definitely. Do I recommend? Absolutely! Just disappointed.
