Best Campground in Canada

A	Andrew Scheel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice family oriented place run by really great people. The sites are a little small, open and tight together but this was ok for us. The beach is not huge but also was not very busy and there are lots of shade trees to sit under. The water is so clean and clear. There are boats and water sports items to rent and interesting places to take them to. We will go back and I'd recommend it for other families.
C	Cheyenne Fleurie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and 2 children ages 5 and 13 recently stayed here. Unfortunately it rained the 1st night..but we didn't even mind! We camped in a tent and had some much needed quality time with the kids. We brought lots of board games and crafts and borrowed some from the "lending room" The beach was so great.... all sand..no rocks, clams or weeds and a slow walk out to where it gets deep. If your looking for a party this is not the place to go. If you want to know that your kids are safe and spend some days in quiet peace then this is the place for your family too! We were only there 2 hours and the kids asked if we could go back every summer from now on! Thank you Bon Echo Family Campground:)

C	Christopher Michael Spain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great park with lots of things to do. We saw lots of chipmunks and wildlife. The trails are sweet and the beaches are cozy. Mazinaw campsite was good for families. Getting anywhere is a trek because of private campsites. But the forest is nice to walk through. The shore water was crystal clear beyond a bit of foamy pollution. The views are pretty epic from ridges and shorelines.

Particularly loved that I was able to take our dog for swims in the dog swimming area! Very clean sandy beach for swimming. Kids would love this place as there is also a playground for them. Very well maintained bathrooms and shower facilities.

This is truly a family campground - there must have been more kids at the campground than adults so our kids had a blast. Ralph was awesome in making us feel welcome and just an amazing host all around. The beach is perfectly shallow for the parents to relax and keep an eye on their kids. A slide and floating mats were great additions that kept kids occupied during the day and sleeping super well at night. All facilities were clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back.
G	Greg Beldam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is awesome. Ralph is a great host. Very accommodating and friendly. Very pet friendly. All the seasonal campers seem very nice and friendly as well. Bathrooms were centrally located and pretty clean. Water and electrical hookup was easy to access, and there's a dump site and portable dump containers available. Office was only open for 15 mins on the hour but that might have been because we were camping on the last weekend. Ralph is easy to get a hold of if you really need him. No real complaints from me! Would travel again.
