I highly recommend paying the $3 to go in the bomb it was fantastic!
Definitely a place worth stopping in and seeing, one of the better museums in Alberta. The veterans donations of equipment were absolutely fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to take a short afternoon drive from Calgary to explore what the museum had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised at what was compiled for exhibit by the wonderful volunteers. The displays were a mixture of static and interactive that helped you appreciate the harsh reality of the European wars. Plan to spend 2-3 hours to go through the exhibits.

Plus you can see & talk with the team actively restoring one.
Plus they aren't just sjow pieces but the engines start & run.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little museum, lots to read and learn about history of WW2. Lots of hands on things. Cool planes and engines. Easy to find. Ample parking. Clean bathrooms. Admission is based on donation. Great experience for us! We will come back with my dad!
