One of my favorite campgrounds. Nestled in a small treed valley with a river that runs through the middle of the campground. Hike up the hill to overlook the valley or raft the river on hot days. Get out early if you can to secure a campsite as there are no reservations. This campground has no power or water.

Great place to camp or come for the day. 1.5 hour drive from Calgary. Sandy beach, deep swimming hole, lazy river. Lots of day use parking spaces. Pit toilets, no showers.

The campground is very good and the swimming hole is nice too. Not much grass in the campsites, it's all rocks. Kind of hard on my dogs feet.

Beautiful campground tucked in a small valley with a nice warm creek running through it (as given in the name). Has a beautiful beach area with plenty of room and is deep enough to swim or just wade in. Pine coulee reservoir is minutes away if you prefer swimming in lakes or fishing for larger game. The staff are and have always been friendly and welcoming. We always enjoy staying here and have just returned from staying in one of the group sites! Keep up the great work willow creek campground! Your doing an amazing job ?

Awesome camping! Some campgrounds don't have much shade, but some have lots. Very quiet and clean Campground with garbage and recycling bins. You cannot book this place except for group camping but it's a bonus for last minute campers:) The swimming is good even though the swimming area is relatively small and the water is not clear. Dogs are allowed on the beach. Water shoes can be helpful if you go on the rocks by the river. Swallows make nests in the nearest wall facing the beach and it adds some charm to the place?

Great little beach area on the creek for the kids. Good fishing spot for shore anglers. Campground is nicely maintained but the pit toilets are a quite smelly (I think partly due to lack of ventilation and the prevailing winds in this area). Nice trees and grass between camping sites, small playground and nice walking trails. Close to Pine Coulee Reservoir for those who like boating and watersports. NO FIREWOOD AVAILABLE ON SITE

One of my fav getaways. No power. Nice campground with roughly 55 sites as well as group sites. Clean and well taken care of. Small swimming hole / beach area and stream for early season tubing.

This photo is in the Athabasca river by Hinton. Eagles got easy meals from unlucky deer for over a month. Willow Creek road March/April 2022. Google maps put photo in wrong spot, not sure how it messed up so badly.
