Had an amazing experience at the restaurant. As a new immigrant, I am new to the city and the Japanese cuisine. The waiter (I forgot his name, maybe Liam or Jake; I remember that he was Korean) was so humble and patient while taking our order. He was well-informed about the cuisine and the menu, and he helped us decide our first Japanese meals and drinks. Post my experience at Boku, We also observed that he was patiently training the other waitress (I think her name was Bhavya from New Delhi). Both of them were very friendly and accommodating for our requests. The waiter recommended that I try the Spicy Ramen with House Sake. The meal was amazing, and I loved the combination recommended to me. Enjoying the hot and spicy ramen with a view of snowfall outside, made our experience even better. I am coming here again with another group of friends, very soon. Food: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5

This place was a nice escape from the cold during the Xmas Market. I ordered the ramen and it was blend, my partner also disliked his meal. They were just not very good. They have nice options for drinks.

I go to this place all the time. They've had a rough time during covid and are getting back on their feet. They switched up their menu and have some good daily deals. Always great food. Sometimes hard to get a table on weekends. Great patio with the flame tables. ? Bring friends.

Quiet, lovely interior decor, attentive staff and consistent ramen (Touhenboku Ramen House on Queen)! We went to BOKU on a weekday (March 2022 during the pandemic), dine-in allowed in Toronto. They ask for proof of vaccination at the door. There were very few people that visited during lunchtime. Our table was given a bottle of Q Water to share with glasses. The waitress was nice and very prompt to answer our questions, take our order and check in on our food/service. The menu covers a lot of default Japanese dishes ranging from rice bowls, ramen and sushi rolls. They do have a few BOKU signature items like the soba and stir-fry and Japanese poutine that look tempting as well! We tried the Pork Miso Ramen with an additional nitamago egg. It is consistent ramen to the Touhenboku location. Their ramen has thinly sliced white onion which we didn't mind. Broth is delicious and presentation was great! Nice to know there's an alternative to hiking back up to Queen. Note: BOKU also owns the Touhenboku Ramen House on Queen Street West (which we've frequented before).

Service was very good. Love the food! Do try the creamy lobster udon. It has awesome flavor. Thank you very much Boku! You brought smiles on all of my friends faces.

This restaurant has a deal where if you rate it 5 stars you get a plate of free gyozas. Not a fan of buying reviews so I’m taking off a star just for that. It isn’t bad, but it’s not a 5-star place in my opinion. Food was fine, but nothing special- like a less mainstream (and Japanese) Jack Astors.

The food is Okay, not the best Japanese cuisine out there but I don't expect to eat authentic Japanese food in the middle of the distillery district. We had the ramen, karaage, and the poke bowl. None of those items impressed us and we found the items a little pricy.

Was craving for Japanese food while walking around Distillery and decided to dine here for late lunch. Food were fantastic and delish! I ordered the poke bowl which I think was a lil pricey. And my partner got the curry. We also got free gyoza as it was their promo every Thursday. Server was accommodating and nice. They also have covered and heated patio which was great!
