We feel ripped off from hidden fee's that was not declared from the beginning. We rented a chain saw today to slice the side of a few trees so we can install a fence. We went to Bobs A-Z rentals. We rented a 20” chain saw to bring it home to get started. We didn’t even get through 1 tree because the chain saw was not cutting. We took it back and the service guy checked it out and said that the blade was not sharp. So am am assuming that they have me a chain saw with a dull blade. They put on a new one with no discussion to me about a $20 charge that was potentially from another rental person. We took it home and it cut amazing right to the last tree. We take it back and the owner Dave charged us 2 sharping fees At $20 a piece. I never heard sharpening fee's an I would think that the beginning of my rental would have been the right time to tell me of such a fee. I called Home Depot's rental department to see what they do and they never heard of a sharpening fee and don't charge people for this. They just place on a new chain when they rent out chain saws. The rental was $50 and then another $40 for these 2 sharpening fee's that $100. No cool and as a customer I feel ripped off because this was not communicated to me. I asked why this was not declared from the beginning and they said that they cannot go through such a list of things with me. They accused me of using it wrong. Im sorry but the second time the blade worked fine to our last tree. I get an owners perspective on the cost of blades but as a consumer we look for fan market costs and prices to services. It’s a rental and the cost of doing business. If Home Depot doesn’t do this why to they? Because of this experience and not knowing of future charges myself and my family will never rent from Bob's A-Z rental again and will take our business to Home Depot where we are treated fairly. I did call them before posting this to see if there was a way to correct this situation but nothing was done so I am just giving google my personal feedback in that my experience was not very good.

Our business rents equipment from here, I have bought Stihl products from them and they do repairs on our equipment as well. The staff is always helpful, friendly and the service is done as promptly as they can. I brought in my snowblower this morning right as they opened, which needed a last minute fix right before the bad weather hits, spoke to the owner Dave and he and Russell got it fixed on the spot. I will be a customer for life. Thanks!

Fantastic service. Friendly people. They had the parts I needed, the price was right, and the mechanic went out of his way to give advice so I could repair my stihl machine. Thanks for the great customer service!

Rented a few pieces of lawn equipment from A-Z. The staff are extremely helpful and quick to get you on your way. Any issues and the staff are ready to help! Great service and nice people, as well as a wide selection of equipment. I couldn't recommend these guys enough, definitely makes the whole rental experience easy.

poor customer service. they will be quick to make a sale, but when the machine has a defect, they brush you off and don't even give you 5 min of their time to even look at it and just say its 4 weeks wait till we can even look at it and don't know if its covered. You will NOT get any more of my business. And that is not how to treat a customer who has an issue with a $1k item that is 3 months old. You have work for 4 weeks out...great...good for you....won't be any from me!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I rented a bobcat from Bob's A-Z rentals ​this past weekend. The entire experience from my first phone call to returning the product was horrible. I called several times to work out the details and ask a few questions and the person on the phone was not very helpful or pleasant. When we arrive to get the Bobcat one of the people that worked there drove it up to our trailer and proceeded to load it onto the trailer without being asked to do so. In the process he fell off the ramps 2 times trying to get it loaded and bent the frames that hold the ramps when traveling. When we got the bobcat home and were unloading we noticed that the Cutting Edge was worn out so badly it was basically non-existent. There were no corners it was almost worn right into the bucket Edge. We could not return it as it was Saturday afternoon and they were closed until Monday morning. So we used it as is it was, it very difficult trying to lift sod and dirt with that edge. It took twice as long as it should have and we didn't end up with a very good finished project. I returned the Bobcat at 8 a.m. on Monday as required. One of the workers came out and as he proceeded to unload the Bobcat from my trailer he told me that they are not allowed to load or unload other people's trailers. I told him about the edge on the bobcat(he chuckled) and the fact that when we picked it up someone did load it and did break Parts on our trailer. He just said, well we aren't allowed to load people's trailers unless it was the owner maybe. As he was unloading the bobcat(something he wasn't supposed to do) he became stuck on the bumper and proceeded to drag the trailer and my truck trying to get it unstuck. I was yelling at him to stop but he just kept going. Eventually when that didn't work he stopped, turned the wheels sharply and scratched the end of my trailer getting unstuck. I then went in to clear up the bill and again tried to tell the lady at the counter about the damages and the fact we never asked anyone to load or unload for us. She said we don't do that because we are not liable for damages. Then proceeded to act like I didn't say anything. They didn't do anything about the damages or even discount due to the fact there was no cutting edge on the bucket. On top of that I had to pay 40.00 in diesel for a job that should have taken half the time.

Thives, don't rent from here. Very discreet with dropping off times. Will charge you for the full day. Very dishonest and will make you pay for Sunday eventhugh you don't need the rental for that day because they are not open on Sundays. Very bad service and will not go there ever again.

Friendly staff, and fast delivery service. Showed up to rent a lift, was delivered to my site within an hour. Great service, and equipment was also in great condition, which is not always the case with rentals.
