I usually find BMO quite difficult to deal with as you're often given the run around - call the 1-800 number, go into the branch, etc. I'm not often given a very quick answer to any of my inquiries. With that being said I was a pleasantly surprised when I went into the branch last week and got everything I needed to sort out super quickly and without any hassle at all. The man I was speaking to (Jackson) was super friendly and helpful.

Worst customer service I have ever had with BMO and I have been with BMO for about 20 years. I was booked for an appointment with a lender for 3pm. The lender was almost 20 minutes late and it was I who had to call in or maybe I would not have heard from him. When I had to call in to Customer Service, Customer Service said the lender was preparing for me; this seemed like the lender was unprepared and this appointment was booked a week prior. When I did talk to the lender he said sorry he was busy, but if he was busy he could have at least sent an email or text or call that he was running late. If someone cannot give decent, much less good customer service with money; I don't want to work with them.

After booking an appointment 2 weeks in advance to open a US account, Sam assured me everything was fine. They could help for for a fee of $100-$1,000. I agreed reluctantly, but i needed this done quickly. After 2 attempts to contact him prior to the appointment to confirm everything was going as planned, there was no response. When i showed up on the day of the appointment, he told me he wasn't able to provide me the services he said he could. Compete Waste of Time! Worst Service Possible. Why don't people care or take pride in their work any more???

Out dated mess that tries to classify itself as a bank. Stepped into the 1980s. Staff was unable to find my documents for a cheque that they've lost.

Calling and trying to speak to a real, actual human being is infuriating. You have to accurately make your way through a series of puzzles, hoping you’ve selected the correct option to allow you the privilege of talking to a person who may potentially be able to assist you. And unfortunately, once you do speak to someone, the assistance received is subpar. I called regarding concerns to my account, requesting certain changes be made. I was told these changes would be looked into and followed up on, which was done not, leaving me to have to call again and hope I correctly answer their riddles three just so I can be in the same position I was in before.

It is 1130 on a Wednesday night. And as I try to fall asleep, I simply cannot. Because of the snowplow in the bank of Montreal parking lot. I would love to go to sleep as I have to wake up for work in the morning. But I can't because the sound of pavement scraping. Please talk to your snowplow guy that this timing is inconsiderate of the neighborhood and also there is minimal snow on the ground.

The Indian girl, I can't believe she is belonged to a bank. So rude and bad attitude to customers. How can you hire or train someone like that for such a big bank?? I'm worrying for trusting my money to this bank.
