This was the first BMO that really made the concept of a bank as a business stand out. Disliked the service due to the bank prioritizing fees that they charged me instead of the fact I've been with them with years and clearly he priority should be on the customer, not an attempted redirect to gain a few bucks from a loyal customer

This place screwed up my transaction more than a couple of times. And I'm a student, so money is a big deal for me. First, they printed me the wrong bank account information so i had to talk to my boss, go back and ask for a new one, give my boss the new information and wait another week until i get my pay. Second, they recommended me to get a TSFA account and transfer most of my money there. And now, my money is locked into that account and i have to wait until late october, book an appointment with a financial manager in order to withdraw all those money. Sigh...waste of time. Thirdly, i had to pay tuition and that day, tuition was due, so i came here to change my limit on my debit card. And the receptionist(white female) told me, "oh, why don't you pay here, the money will transfer to your school today" and i told her "but its gonna take a few business day", and she said "don't worry, its a special day. your money will get there." So i gave in and paid it at the bank, and what do ya know, i got a late fee from school and i have to pay a $50 late fee. Thanks a lot for lying to my face. Honestly, I'm so disappointed with BMO. A trip to the bank has to be a nightmare somehow.

Poor experience with the bank and their advisors. Ineffective and unprofessional. Have GIC at their bank at 1% return. Asked to withdraw it several years in a row, told by various advisors that it would be done, and informed today that it can only be withdrawn within the week that it matures!? All the previous advisors have no idea of what they were talking about. Booked an appointment for mortgage and no one was there. High turnover and a new face pretty much everytime. Will be switching to another bank. Others be warned! ------------------ Thank you for your response. I am genuinely disappointed in my interactions at the branch. I want my review to be fair. I would be happy to discuss it with someone from BMO, if a contact can be provided.

One of the worst places for business. No clue about customer service. I would think that a bank during the pandemic wouldnt say we're not open yet despite having your hours still posted for hours of operation for 9 am. Bad reflection from the top to the bottom. Good luck to any bank staying in business. Not a place for business but if you're looking to store money somewhere other than your mattress, I guess BMO will do. What's done is done !

Kind of acted like I had stolen the card. I was just trying to put a paycheque in and pay my bills. The teller started asking me where I had shopped that day and how much I had spent and getting me to verify credit card info, made me sign stuff saying her pin terminal was down (I had already used it to sign into my account in front of her) She asked me if Iโ€™ve ever gotten a cheque from my work before, I have been putting in cheques from them every two weeks for the past four years....then told me I should use the ATM because theyโ€™re busy, I said you canโ€™t pay credit card bills via the machine and explained that the online banking was giving me issues so I had to come in. Took about 15 minutes to do what usually takes 2 minutes, not to mention all the very strange questioning, which might be able to be explained if I was trying to take money out or something, but I was simply putting money in and paying a bill. Will not be back to this location, treatment was very poor

Horrible customer service. Been a BMO client for 20+ years. Worst branch I've ever been at. Came here 10 minutes before closing. One rep that was there (dressed very unprofessionally I might add) told me all tellers are closed. I said how can that be if clearly listed closing time on website is 10 minutes from now. He said tellers are closed but appointment services are open. He was obviously trying to hurry out asap, told me to run to another branch 15 minute walk away, says hurry you can still make it (though in reality I'd have to sprint to have a chance). I said can you call them to make sure their tellers are not all closed like yours. He couldnt be bothered, told me to hurry there and he's sure they can serve me. BMO - is this how you serve customers? If tellers are closed before closing, go adjust the "branch hours" accordingly so your customers dont get screwed. Stay away from this BMO and train your reps on customer service 101.

Curt, Nora and the branch manager are super friendly and helpful! They listened to me carefully and tried their their best to give suggestions according to my needs. I couldn't ask for more
